I have the same feelings as you, I'm living in South China's Guangdong province, it was very difficult for me to travel to Tibet years ago, but now with the bullet train is able to head to Lhasa I believe one day I could be there.

The simple way of leading life is what amuses me and I've been to Sikkim and Ladakh. The people of these places are also very down to earth and love nature and always try to preserve it.
Tashi Delek, you are so fortunate to have a hometown with stunning views such as this. I am truly envious of you. The closest experience i have ever had with anything Tibetan was my trip to Dharamshala last yr to attend his Holiness The Dalai Lama's buddhist teaching. Few thousand people attended and it was a wonderful experience. Such a privilege to see His Holiness in person & i am truly blessed !
