It certainly reminds me of my days back in the Lotus! ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-ksbouCmI3JU.html Thanks so much for watching and supporting this channel! Living Big In A Tiny House Awesome family. Cute home. LOVE the price! Excellent video, Bryce. Looking foreword to a million subscribers. And here’s to a million more!
These children are fortunate that their parents are doing what they can to help them live life simply. They get to spent QUALITY time with their parents. This is priceless!
Agree totally. In South Africa sooo many people live in filthy squatter camps made from sink which is scorching in summer and freezing in winter, This would be paradise for any of these people
@@deneseweatherby7378 💯 % those lil guys running exploring nature around them was awesome footage. The lil one nappy stretches yawn sits up falls back down on the bed no worries was priceless to see. I'd of loved the natural closeness with my siblings as a kid. Seeing pops more,, seeing mom & pops together more enjoying themselves in simplicity ect.. Who doesn't love nature and a 🔥 pit with a deck wrapped around, a roof over head as long as no worries of food is in the belly 😋 thats all awesome in my mind. 😃 haha this was awesome to see. I'd of loved that then and now just the same. So 😎
My children are now in their thirties. I was a newly single mom when they were 3, 2 and infant, and I had a dream, too. I had no idea how to do it. I struggled for years to provide for them but that’s another story for another day. The internet wasn’t a thing and I didn’t know a soul who had done it. You have the benefit of seeing how others do it and getting ideas and inspiration from them. I’m here to say that I hope you fulfill your dream. Best to you.
This video is about so much more than tiny homes. It’s about what real life is all about. No tv. No neighborhood. Close family relations and conversations face to face instead of texting and smart phones. These people have the right idea on how to live life centered around family.
J WILTON that’s hypocritical and narcissistic... if your going to give up all things in natural and man made... get off that couch... get rid of that electricity and filtered bottled water.. no grocery shopping not at a store... when these kids become teenagers this won’t do at all. And I like how the wife is wearing a full face of make up with hair extensions.. their full of shit.. this is just for show.. they don’t really live here at all their actors.
Even after watching all episodes of all tiny homes Bryce has covered on his show, I keep coming back to this one. This family has encouraged my husband and I to buy a 2 acre land and we cannot wait to build a home like this. I love how rustic and untouched his garden is. No manicured lawns and no ornamental plants nor rose and hydrangeas. This is so close to nature in the best way possible. I just love this family and their home, complete with river water and fire pit.
@@jesus.christ.is.coming2829 Amen. Wonderful and Awesome Testimony. GLORY TO GOD. PRAISE JESUS. THANK YOU LORD FOR HEARING HIS CRY. YOU NEVER LEAVE US OR FORSAKE US.
For those who have left negative comments about this family's way of life, I just want to say: so what if the way they choose to live is somewhere in the middle ... between the modern world and true off-the-grid environmentalism. They're doing what works for them and I applaud them for it!
Good for them. And according to that life philosophy, I can laugh at them. Living in a tent, in the desert, with 2 kids. Shitting in a porta potty. No insulation, space heater.
@@waterhead1029 ..you better be careful talking down about others.. you might wake up one day and loose every "little" things you have... and you won't have a pot to shit in
Legends!!! Those kids will thank you so much one day in the future! Honestly, there is no better life preparation for human beings than what you have deliberately chosen to provide for your gorgeous babies and for yourselves! Congratulations on your bravery and brilliant decision! Hope it pays off with lots of love, peace and happiness!
As a child growing up back in the 60's I use to live like this part time. My father loved the outdoors and loved saving money, so most of my summers (as in several weeks or months at a time) we would spend living in a tent near some lake or stream. Our meals consisted of a lot of things gathered from the wild, caught or hunted. Even when the summer was over and back in the city, we had a garden and my father would continue to gather from the wild. He knew where to find wild asparagus and berries. I've eaten things like cat tails (the plant) and had natural gathered sassafras tea. My dad believed everyone should know how to survive off the wild.
you would do great with your survival skills on naked and afraid you'd have no problem finding your food out there due to your Dad teaching you at such young age👍thats awesome
I love this idea and think they've made a beautiful home for themselves, but where I live (MA) this type of home would go against zoning laws and the winters would be brutal.
My goodness, this couple really have great taste for the home deco. The tent seems so posh in the inside. Love their fireplace at night too! It's like living in a fairytale.
It would be interesting to get a follow up of these houses 5 years down the road. The first 6 - 12 months seem easy, like a honeymoon period: you’re excited about the new home, new lifestyle, etc. I wonder what happens with wear and tear, animals and insects in the surroundings, even the dynamics with the family that lends the land. I don’t want to sound critical, I’m just wondering how this type of living evolves over time, it’s easy to like it and get excited when you see a family in their first months in a new place.
they quit pretty much immediately after this. shut down everything. can't find them anywhere on social media. the vibe was pretty fakey to me so tbh i'm thinking this was staged. edit to add: yeah, show us the real house "on the same acreage where we shower" 🤣🤣 there's not a single child's toy, picture, or anything personal in this cabin. I guarantee you they just rent it out as a retreat.
I am a little jealous right now. I took on a job as a semi truck driver to live on the road and save my money so I can do something similar. I just started two months ago so I’m at the beginning of my journey. I just want to fast forward two years and do that. What a beautiful family and place.
Ah!! I'm currently in college majoring in architecture, and for my project at school I'm thinking of building a tiny house! I have all the designs already, I'm so excited!
Sweet family. We echo your thoughts and values. Loved your little guys face eating carrots straight from the garden (15:09), dirt ring around his mouth and all ❤️ priceless on so many levels. Best of luck to you all.
This family really is so wonderful. We absolutely loved spending time there and getting to know them. Such genuine and beautiful people. Glad you resonated with this video! Thanks for watching.
Mrs Green, yes, cute, but toddlers can die from *parasites in soil.* One parasite is from raccoon feces. You can read about it at phys (.) org Title: "Deadly raccoon roundworm can infect humans without symptoms, new study finds" Overall, I love the home these parents have provided for their children. They clearly love their children and have made many wise choices.
Sophia pinella, hmmm, no offense, but you presented anecdotal evidence. You know anecdotal evidence isn't actual evidence, right? That is great if you rarely get sick, but it doesn't prove anything. You also didn't say you ate dirt, so I think you are setting up a false equivalency. Your argument was also a strawman, since I never proposed it was an either-or choice between children playing out in the dirt or staying indoors. My comment was about the child getting soil in his mouth. I'm not saying this happened, but isn't it possible that today there are more aggressive diseases from microorganisms in soil compared to when you were a child? Or perhaps more widely spread? No hate here. Just trying to encourage a better argument. Little help here: was it determined that carpet cleaning chemicals played a role in Jett Travolta's death? I searched and found nothing saying this. I would appreciate a link if you have one.
@Well possibly, Please, JUST THINK. People are SURROUNDED BY & CONSUME a plethora of chemicals, toxins, poisons and pesticides on a daily basis. They eat preservative-laden "Frankenfood". Animals that are injected with antibiotics and growth hormones. GENETICALLY MODIFIED (aka GMO) fruits, vegetables (and also lawns & shrubs) are sprayed with toxic ROUNDUP and other Monsanto poisons. How many people are filled with DIS-ease from chemical-laden lifestyles? Then they turn to BIG PHARMA for toxic deadly prescriptions in a feeble attempt to get relief from symptoms of their DIS-eases and only get sicker and feel miserable which causes them to down even MORE drugs in an attempt to feel better. ONLY THEY DON'T. They end up miserable & unable to function and then they die. I'd rather have the raccoon poop.
Oh. My. Forget the house/the tent and even the beautiful father - that precious boy eating the carrot right from the ground and then sleeping under the stars. My goodness.😍😍😍💓💓
If I could raise my kids all over again, this is what I would do. I think you guys are super lucky to have this opportunity and you are making the right choice for your family.
Scarlett Moon imma Native American woman who had to live what people of non-Native American roots did not have the opportunity in choosing running water and electricity. God Bless you since you believe that this lifestyle is a choice for you?? The Native people lost their homes, land , I believe you are intelligent enough to understand?? God Bless you today with the gift 🎁 of WISDOM...💕🙏😇
Aww thank you Shawneya . I would choose this lifestyle in a moments notice , if I could. One day, hopefully sooner than later. I think in today's world we are so far away from our roots we have lost All connection to the land and to Mother Earth. But I have noticed that there is a change happening ALL over the world were people especially the Native peoples are reclaiming their cultures and land. Even the Caucasian natives are finding their roots. Not in a negative sense like a Nazi, but in their old ways of living, pre-Christian. Where we once were one with Nature. I believe we once had a knowledge not only of herbs and plants, but many things that you only can acquire when you are in tuned to the Earth. And we have lost that knowledge over the past 500-600 years. But I believe that many of us are now searching and finding it once again.
Scarlett Moon I was thinking the same thing. Society has been programed in such a way that all we think about is STUFF! I was impressed with what the young man said, 'in thirty years, what's really going to be important...that 40 hr/week job or the memories and time you spent with your kids and family?" This young couple is smart, not giving in to the social engineering that basically separates families, for hours per day, each week. Getting back to the basics and putting more worth on loved ones instead of material possessions. Awesome 💕
Shawneya: I understand that when the indigenous people of America lost their “land” they lost so much more. Human beings, when thoughtful, intuitively miss the connection to the land. We drown it out with all sorts of noise: work; TV; drugs; etc. Giving our children the gift of outdoors is the greatest gift we can bestow. I looked like that little girl 68 years ago. I wish I was raised that way....
I got to camp out in an old army tent, but it was never this amazing. That is a wonderful way of keeping costs down, and keeping family life at a premium. And, those boys will have some of the best memories ever! I love it!!
This is incredible! All of this for only 5 grand. Unbelievable location, getting to live the tent life while enjoying nature. I lovvvveee this house so much!!!!!!
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed this episode. And yeah, for 5 grand it's pretty unbelievable. What a great job! Just goes to show how many great finds are still out there.
This reminds me of Joe and Zach survival RU-vid channel they have a tent they use for all their time off in Minnesota free camping and everything I think they've had it like 10 years now... I live in the state of Michigan and literally if I had my choice I would live in a canvas tent even in the winter because of wood stove puts out a lot of heat but of course all the regulations and strict rules about housing and everything in the state are ridiculous you have to find unrestricted land and it's extremely hard to find it... And don't even think about not having running water they consider it criminal up here..
I love everything about this home. The outside is perfect with the fire pit, river, garden, flowers, trees and so much land. The decor is so dreamy and gives peaceful vibes. They are also a very attractive family.
Just left the City 7 months ago , to kind I do the same thing. Planning my own Vegetables cooking outside. I love it Fresh eggs .I have 3 boys saw a big change they are more outside feeding the animals. They are less time in the phone , have a TV but we don’t turn it on. I was so happy to se this video
The most precious thing is family...these are the days, you could never replace!! Spending time out in nature with your children. Working at home etc., everything else will fall into place. So many of worry Way to Much about future details, but as we trust God he will help us succeed.
This Is so inspiring ! I am really disappointed in all the hate, these people are trying to do better for themselves. My theory is that her family is not rich, just kind. I am only 20 and just got married. My husbands parents are kind enough to let us live with them until we can afford to be on our own. His parents are not rich just humble and kind. I think her family is the same way. Compassionate for their daughter and her husband and kids. What is wrong with 2 adults and kids wanting a more simple life? And what is wrong with a lady being a hairstylist? She is just pretty and likes nice things; nothing wrong with that. God Bless that family, I believe they are honest and just want the best for their kids. I challenge you all to try to be happy for others and believe they have the best intentions. It is freeing!❤️
throw the seeds, let God do his work with the rain..... beautiful words. when God is in your heart and you put those you love first, nothing can stop you xo you have a beautiful family, your wife obviously loves you very much, it's evident in her body language. God bless you and your family
Actually had a very wet summer. He even said the rain helped the garden. Most summers are much dryer. Living near the river helps, the soil is better too. We in New Mexico call it the Bosque. Would like to know which river he is near.
Den For Our Cubs --- Living that far in the woods...u ever scared at night ?? For me..the scariest place in the world is the forrest at night time...lol ( Well..thaat and a haunted place..but I would most likely choose to stay in the haunted place versus the woods lol)... But in all seriousness, How far are you from society?
Den For Our Cubs --- Soo after watching the entire video, I was able to see why one wouldn't need to be so scared of the wild life after dark as it's not at all like a "forest" ... You're in the woods, yes,..but it's a lot of open space and open field and the trees aren't all condensed together, like an actual forest... Waaaay different from the Canadian Forests that I'm used to haha! Your surroundings are absolutely Beaautiful!!! Same w the home you built!! Especialy at night time,w the fireplace and all those pretty lights!! Those kids are sooooo lucky to be able to grow up in such a magical place!!! ❤
This is not lower standard life but sufficient home with all beauty and nature that produce good soil for them to grow whatever they wanted to , they can run freely without worrying of traffics endanger for the kids life to stray about, I love this type of living , harmony with Mother Nature , congrats happy loving family enjoy the fullest days
This is the life I've always wanted. To not stress about bills, working 9-5 and living paycheck to paycheck. So many years of studying just so you could get a good job and earn more money. It's not making any sense. Maybe the system worked at some point but not anymore considering it's not making anyone any more happy and less lonely.
@@jcdenton4621some people dont have money to do that, or the skills and knowledge on how to make it work. For a person like me Id have to plan this for years, Im currently teaching myself how to grow my own food. Next Id like to learn to build things. I live in the city and wasnt raised to go off the grid, but Im gonna learn and do what I can!
Kudos to them!! I grew up in nature to. My childhood was beautiful. I want to get back to it again. I miss it so much. My heart needs this life. Thanks for sharing.
Smartest couple I have seen in years, these people get it. Love their attitude of just going for it and not seeming concerned failing. They are living free.
Zac seems to have a knack for making interesting lighting features, and rustic/modern tables. That would be a fabulous steady income. A lot of veg will come out of that garden. And they could easily add on another "tent" cabin for a larger boys' room, and an extension for the bathroom. Oh, the possibilities!!
I have seen hundreds of “tiny homes” and this is by far my number one favorite home. I have 3 kids and I we live in a condo and even this place feels huge and unnecessary space and stuff. And for me when he talks abt his kids future is all about being stuck on technology ... is the number one reason I wish we could live like this .
Amazing find Bryce. You can tell that they really enjoy just living. I can feel their happiness, contentment, pride, and courage. It takes a whole lot of courage to go against the norms and just be. I can totally relate to their story.
Back to Nature is as it states. No modern anything. This is a fancy decked out tent with all the modern conviences. They are not living off the land or without power. Please!
They're camping out on family acreage with the parent's home available for showers/bathing, cooking, heat & air conditioning. This is a deceptive piece.
I am a rock hound too ! When I go for a walk I always return home with pocket’s full of rocks ! Just pretty rocks. ! They are a lovely Family !And their children will always remember these Golden years of their childhood! Priceless !👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕👵🏻🐶😺🖖👽
That much money could spoil creativity. I imagine 70k may go to a solar shower, quad or two, food and supplies for the next precious years of their lives. \
@@SR-gs8zo and @Karen Van Zan WOW, what's with the negativity?? Bums??!! Really? He sells his lamps, they raise their kids, they live in a simple dwelling but So Much Nicer than 50% of the rest of the World. Sanitary, they shower when they want their water is clean. Sorry I think they are living a more sane life than not. But thanks for your opinion to each their own, but I don't see them as bums panhandling on the streets, they live off their own means. Not BUMS at all just free spirits and not $$ centric. They are living with Nature not against it so I don't see them ruining Nature.
Tiny house parents will raise their teenagers to build their own tiny houses instead. No need for a room and all the drama for privacy, they could build their own and move out and provide for themselves by 16. Teenagers and college students live with their parents because they can't afford a home. This is the solution, not the problem.
Being out in nature is so good for kids! And they get quality time with their parents. These parents know how to live! I love what he said about having 100 seeds and threw them around and let God do his thing. 😊
I want this type of life. Simple, surrounded by nature's beauty, living in a unique beautiful inspriring environment, I really love what you've created and acomplished. Its magical its inspiring its simply beautiful
@@SKOLAH God the saltiness here...without the land price (even though they said the mother lives near, not that it's her land so we don't know) and the shower installation it's still an amazing result for construction like this. I really don't get why people keep shitting on others just because they live a happy life.
Wow I couldn't imagine paying 5k per month on rent, I hope that's utilities included!! These two have got it figured out, it's not about keeping up with the Jones, it's about being happy!!
@@kk-cr4db I get what you're saying but actually, if I heard correctly, he did say they're on her parents property and using their electric. But yes, no reason to shit on people who are happy.
Is it really more than $5000 a month to rent in NJ? What size space are you renting? That's unreal! I live in boring Ohio, in a fairly small cape cod house built in 1956, and my mortgage is right around $1000 a month lol. That's in a nice little neighborhood with similarly built homes with a good school district. The houses aren't what id call anything special, they're old too, but even in some of the best and newest neighborhoods, with huge houses, I wouldn't imagine they have a mortgage that high here. I'm seriously in disbslief. I knew the cost of living in places like that and some places in California, Chicago, etc is really expensive, but I didnt realize it was *that* expensive.
I love this, it wasn't that long ago that families lived much more closely and shared resources. Lucky kiddos to be so close to their grandparents and hopefully beneficial to the parents as they age to have support nearby! 🖤
I absolutely LOVE this way of living. I think all humans should evolve to this. Being apart of nature while giving back to it. Cutting down costs, and things that break down our planet. Eliminating the social standards that lead to poverty, depression, class systems, ext. I’m brining my kids up like this✨
Hahaha. Sorry! I didn't mean to let the secret out, but for the record, New Mexico is AMAZING!!!!!!!!!! We absolutely loved it there. Definitely one of our top states.
Umm, I believe there was one beginning of last wk. Remember Bryce has to do a bit of traveling too.Click the notification bell, that should help u. take care :))
"Two little cubs..."😅, love it Bryce!! This handsome lion & beautiful lioness have gorgeous little cubs! And WHAT a stunning location!👍🏻😄 As an older person l love to see little cubbies raised in nature. It's something they can hold in their hearts for their whole lives!🤗💖🍀🐾🌈☮️🇨🇦
Enjoy what God created and Love flows through your heart to raise your children in Love. Be blessed family much more important than anything in this world. God gave you a a family to take care of. Thank you for doing that with your wife and children. They need their father and mother. You are there teacher's to raise them up. I am greatful for what you are doing for your family. Pray for other Men to support there familes and to raise their children and get to know them better. Thank you for sharing.....
They are living in a tent on one of their parents properties. Connected to parent's cable and electric. If I could move into a cabin in my parents back yard for free, then I would too.
@wim lammens I don't know. I will have to ask them when I sell my house and decide to live off them while I run my own business selling rope lights. Don't get me wrong, it is cool, but this just seems set up and not how they actually live. Even if they do, it is just them living off their parents instead of growing up and taking responsibility.
@Robert M. I see what your saying. I'm not sure how old you are but I find that people under 40 in this day and age (especially if you have kids) have a really hard time buying a home or acreage for that matter. I would love to do what these guys are doing and I wish my parents had acreage so I could live on it too! Where I live, any property, is exponentially high in costs and its impossible to buy your own home on a median income in this day and age. A house in my city that is considered a tear down is over $1.5 million. Who can afford that? 10 acres is anywhere from $3M-$5M. The people who actually want to farm and live off the land cannot even begin to think about buying at that cost! Only wealthy people can afford to buy a house where I live and its sad. Its really hard for young people or anyone under 40 with a median income to get into the market, let alone buy a house or a house with acreage unless you've been given hundreds of thousands of dollars as a gift or inheritance for a down payment. It's not the same as it was for our parents and grandparents who could buy a piece of land for dirt cheap and build a home on it. Even building a 1500sqft regular home costs $250K. There is literally barely any land under $100K anymore. Our parents could buy land for $10K or less. So I get what your saying but people my age, late 30's or less, have to be creative if we want to live on acreage and usually it means living in a co-op or on your parents land...or win the lotto but that's a different dream! :)
Lor 89.... "part of their value"? Yeah that is why they were living out in Cali for how many years before they figured out it was too hard and moved back home? Their core "values" told them to move away from home and live their "best life" and now they are running back home to live off his parents because that is what they "value"?
@jettybeans.... If the town you live in is too expensive to buy a house, then you gotta live somewhere else. That simple. If you want to live off the land, move somewhere cheap. Got married at 28, kids at 33, house at 35, kid at 38 and still 38 now as a stay at home dad. Bought a small cheap house that needed work. Before we had kids we saved all our money and didn't go out or on vacations so we could save our money for a house.(I live in one of the most expensive state with some of the highest taxes) Found a house in a nice town with low mill rate and a good school system. We found a town that fit those points that was also close to work and close to some family. We grow as much food as we can. If you want a lot of land you gotta move to where the land is at a price point you can afford. You want a house then move to a town that you can afford. Figure out what your priority is first. Do you want to live in X city or do you want to own a home, then you either rent in X town or you move to Y town and own a home or large acreage. You could fairly easily find a house in need of repair on 5-10 acres across the US for under $100k all the time. You could be 80% self sufficient from 5-10 acres fairly easily with effort and reasonable expectations. You could reasonably buy 50 acres in most states for $50k or less if you were willing to do a lot of work to make it better and live in a $15k yurt. Baby woke up, but you need to have realistic expectations and maybe think about moving to a less expensive area of your state.
God bless this Family who's living life based on Love and Family. Ahead of the curve in respect to prioriety and functionaliry. Respect your wish to just be You on your journy in life.
So much negativity because they are beautiful family! There are no set rules for how anyone has to live. If this is progress for them for a more simple life then good for them. If it’s part time/full time. It’s no ones business! They are sharing a creation they made that is clearly beautiful.
We just wanted to say this video was such an inspiration to us! This helped us take the leap of faith to start our own journey living debt free, living on land where our two kids can grow up in nature, and we are taking it a step further creating unique stays like their GORGEOUS home. We are hoping it turns out as beautiful as their home!
I’m really inspired by this young couple because it proves that almost anyone can do it and not pay a fortune either. It’s also inspiring to see young people not necessarily part of the Green movement realising there is a wonderful life to be had if only you remember what really matters in life. They are positively radiant with joy and contentment. Good on ya! From Australia
Lol my thoughts exactly. I wonder if she will stick around was my curiosity as well. Me I would love this kind of living....np I do NEED water to shower all I'm asking lol
Lucky for them they only have to run across the yard to mama's house to bathe/shower, do laundry, cook, have heat/air conditioning, sleep in separate beds, etc. "Thanks Mom!".
@Nick Paulson the point of it is dude that a big house and all the things that go along with it take you away from nature, xbox to much tv etc isnt good and it doesnt make anyone happy. theyre trying to get back to nature, giving there kids a good childhood. they'll be a lot happier living this life than kids in a big house with all the trimmings i assure you.
@Nick Paulson well it sounds like you still work though? having a job and keeping up a place the size of yours would be hard work. These people arent really doing a normal job anymore though, so its not so hard for them by the sounds of it. To be honest i wouldnt want to be working still and living in a place like this, i'd only do it if i could go nearly completely off grid.
Being raised on a dairy farm on 400 acres......I agree this is a healthy way to raise your children and teach them how to survive on the land eating veggies & fruit they helped to grow. Your place looks very comfortable and attractive. Well done.
Your children will have such fond memories that will always be with them. I LIVED in the woods next to the house I grew up in and I would not trade it for anything. We caught snakes, lizards, went fishing all the time, helped little hurt squirrels and birds, and we built forts! LOTS OF FORTS, and we learned a whole lot! The tree-forts were awesome - the best.
THIS is living the simple life......with LOVE and INTIMACY. The children will grow up with fond memories and LOVE and Family VALUES. I ADMIRE their way of living. I lived in the City for years, but NOW live in the Country I have a PEACE in my heart that I didn't have before.
