Hey miss Helen you can use the coffee grounds a light sprinkle on top of the plants you want to protect from slugs Apparently they don’t like it So you can be a sustainable queen and keep the slugs away xx

Slugs - non-toxic method - I’ve been using the wool out of the hello fresh boxes and putting them round the base of the plants. Also using copper tape as well around pots. Promise. The hostas can be safe and no one gets poisoned 🙌🏻

@@eatmieliesweirdillustration unfortunately it is incorrect. Grammarly has a good blog about its and its usage. Technically the hat says ‘off it is hinges/off it has hinges’ which in that context doesn’t make sense. Any time the apostrophe is used it must be in a sentence where you’re removing either the word is or has. It’s a cool hat just a shame about the error, we creatives have all made typos after sending things to print!
Some advice with the coffee art - when you’re steaming the milk you need to lower the jug a bit for around 3-4 seconds so the tip of the wand is only just in the milk to allow more air to get into the milk, and then stick the steam wand in further- this will make it thicker as yours is too wet, it should look like wet shiny paint, once you’ve managed to do this you will be able to do patterns, it take a a lot of practise x

Helen, I have had great success with beer traps for slugs. Did a hole for a container, put some kind of plastic container in the hole and fill it with beer. Slugs are drawn to it and will drown themselves in beer.
Roll the lime a few times first then poke and squeeze. BTW it's hilarious to watch you in x2 mode. Sometimes I have no time so just hold down the screen and you're so funny sped up 😂
