As someone who loves kids and can't have them I appreciate anyone willing to share their family with us. Funny side note, my nieces' name is Addison Emery. Thank you for all the motivation and inspiration! I can tell how much you love your family and want to encourage them to grow in to independent, intelligent, kind women!
Ditto here Stephanie! It’s a little bittersweet sometimes to watch but my neighbor has five of them. So anytime I’m feeling sad about it, I just ask her if she would like a break and I babysit. That usually does it….they can be so so loud 😂 but they are such sweethearts.
I appreciate it when Jamie shows the products she's using...I now see other YT's doing the same thing. I lived in my current home for 7 years not knowing my windows were tilt-in until I saw Jamie do it. This helped soooo much...I can now just tilt in my windows and clean them myself without having to pay someone to clean them!
You are so right when you say how quickly the time goes by. My oldest graduated high school last school year and my youngest is starting pre-school this year ( I have 4 children total). I look at my youngest (named Addison!) and know that I have to cherish these moments, the days are long but the years are short.
Jamie I just want to tell you how incredibly uplifting your videos are. Our lives couldn’t be more different yet your videos bring me so so so much comfort, especially on hard days. Thank you so much for sharing!!! Also I can’t believe the twins are off to kindergarten 🎉 cheers
I want to say that I love your video’s! Good combination of cleaning, organising and family life. My oldest has turned 4 in july and wil start primary school in 2 weeks. We live in the Netherlands and kids start school here when they turn 4. Love how you said “ready to see them fly”, thats exactly how it feels although I will definitly miss having her around so much. Love to see more of your content, its both recognizable and soothing to watch.
Yay Jamie. So exciting that all 3 are in school now. I remember watching the twins as babies in high chairs at the other house 🥲 I’m with you though. It’s so exciting. My first grandchild started kinder today. ♥️
OMG!! Kindergarten and 4th grade!! Time has zipped by I've been watching since the twins were a year old!! I too got to experience my nephews first day of school (Pre-K and kindergarten) for the first time and I was so emotional!!! I hope the girls have a wonderful and safe school year.
Jamie, Back to school is a mix of emotions at least for me. I have one left in school. Which we haven't started yet.The years fly by so quickly. Having a lunch packing station makes things so much easier. Freezing bread items does save on waste. Also keeping bagels and English muffins that would be used in the refrigerator helps keep them from molding. Very cute that you have a helper. Meal planning and prepping are key not only for budgeting but also saves time and less chance of wasting. Having the option to have groceries delivered is a plus and will save time. Totally understand the mixed emotions of wanting to keep your kids at home and also see them grow and spread their wings. Thanks for sharing!
I just brought my baby to her first year of college. Everyone said I would cry. I didn’t because I know she will be and do amazing at school and living life in a dorm. Kids are amazing and watching them grow is the best thing in my life. Your girls look so precious on the first day of school. Thank you for sharing.
I actually had tears at the end of this video. My children are 28 and 21 now. For some reason this back to school video got to me. Time does fly by so quickly, seems like just yesterday my 2 were starting a ew school year. ❤😢😊
You were one of the first RU-vidrs with cleaning I watched. Although I have gotten away from watching all the time, I came back recently to you. You were the only RU-vidr that made me interested enough to try Thrive Market.😉. Love this video; cleaning products used, technique shown, all while not feeling great. You never disappoint. Thank you for all the information you share & your kind personality.🥰. Hope Avery feels better soon.
Love it when you organize/clean and stock your fridge; such encouragement! Always happy to see how you are encouraging the girls to eat more healthy, but yet still letting them have the kid meals and some sweets as well 💕💕 Thanks for all you do Jamie!
My kids go back to school tomorrow the 19th, I have a 9th grader and 3rd grader. My daughter starts preschool Sept 4th, 3 days a week. Looking forward to getting back into a routine, but knowing I have 4 school years left with my oldest breaks my heart. Just trying to be in the moment and soak it in❤. Hope your girls have a wonderful school year!!
Great video today!!! I have an eighth grader and a fifth grader!! Both in their last year at their current schools! It is so crazy how fast it has gone. I still remember the first day of kindergarten for my first🥹🥹😭😭
I agree that a fully stocked fridge is the best feeling. Hope the girls have a great year at school! Watched ya while I did some laundry 🧺 thanks for the motivation Jamie! Unfortunately I can’t get that moment with the surgery I had a partial hysterectomy it breaks my heart now but I see that I get to work with kids and be the best aunt I can be and love seeing my neice’s and nephews strive I have my oldest niece going back to her 3rd year of college and then my youngest nephew who’s 4 going into kindergarten it’s crazy. You and Mike are really amazing parents I wanted to let you know that! Hope you have a great week! 💜😊
I am so glad you posted your flooring choices. I was literally looking for flooring colors like this one this morning because I made a huge mistake of going too dark in our last house. We have honey colored pine flooring and do not care for it at all. Thank you!
I remember those days and they will thrive it will be so interesting to to see if Addison and Emery come home with the same stories or if that had different experiences
I got the JAWS products because you showed what you were using. I looked them up and loved the concept. Now I love the product!!!! Use them exclusively in my house. Also a fellow Buckeye!
You motivated me to get up and start cleaning and organizing mine&my granddaughters bedroom...honestly I don't even know where to start, I want to make it more her room.. any advice, ideas are highly appreciated please. I admire you ❤️
I love those laundry baskets. I copied you (per usual lol😂) when I moved and bought some. And wow, never in my almost 59 years on this planet did I ever think to wash/ sanitize my baskets. You really teach me so many smart things!!!
Hi Jamie! Watching some of your videos while I work…today is a work from home day. Trying to motivate myself for what all I need to get done this weekend. About the stainless steel cleaner…I use Weimans too. That one is my favorite. I have found though that I need to wipe after with just a dry paper towel to make sure it doesn’t look greasy, especially on the fridge.
Wonderful video! The girls are so sweet and look so excited for school! I got so many good tips as I send my twins off to pre-k tomorrow! As always you’re wonderful and love all your videos!
Happy Back to school! Your girls are getting so big I've been watching for I think three years now. I have a senior in high school and a senior in college! Enjoy those early years!!
Hey Jamie! I love it that ur so organized!!! I often dread the school year, bc tho I have one left in the nest, life gets busier:) I see ur lil one peeking at the camera:) She is incredibly cute, like a lil u! 😆🧼🧹🧽🧺🏠
If I ever have a child, I will be so excited for back to school prep. I just love organizing in any way! My best friend growing up and I used to love organizing our binders and stuff before school started. One yr, I was obsessed w Avril Lavigne and printed out pics of her to put in the plastic cover of each binder with the subject under it :)
You always get me wanting to mop my hardwood lol. I just recently purchased a new shark vac mop that does my floors and rugs and it’s my favorite new toy!!!
I love that you show the products on screen! It’s extremely helpful! I’m always curious and interested in the products used! Thank you for showing us. I’ve bought a few products you’ve used and I love them!
Thankyou so much Jamie! Really appreciate this as work is so busy and I have weekends to catch up on housework, but this weekend I was so tired I didn’t do much so it’s all a bit overwhelming today, so I Thankyou for motivating me to get some things done 💜
I hope your girls have/had a great first day of school. My son, who started school this past Monday, asked for me to put this for your two kindergarteners ," Just be you, if you have questions do not be afraid to ask them. How else will you learn. Always be up for learning something new." He was bullied in 1st grade, at his last school, and he stands up for himself and the others. He knows to no matter what that he should go to the nearest trusted adult, be that a teacher, school staff, or even one of the older students if need be. Oh, he also wanted me to add, " Do not feel you need to change to fit in. If they are your true friends, they will like you for who you are." He is always helping the younger students if they need it.
Jamie, I would like to thank you for showing the products that you are using. It helps a lot for me. This is one of the reasons why I keep watching your videos.
Love all things, especially kitchen things and hauls lol. I find groceries that other people get so exciting idk, but what was that all purpose vinegar spray that's so neat? And your veggie bags!! Have an amazing day Jamie 😊
I got both from Thrive market! The vinegar spray is one of my favorites for cleaning the fridge. It’s also just a great cleaner! It’s called Aunt Fannie’s cleaning vinegar spray. The compostable veggie bags are just ziplock but compostable! 😊 I got those from Thrive market, but you can find similar ones from the Ziploc brand, I believe
Happy Sunday! What a great video! Our schools start after Labor Day, so I will definitely be able to use all of your tips! Thank you for sharing your freezer information! We've been looking at the same freezer at Costco but I wasn't sure if the drawers would hold larger items. Now I know they do! Thank you! 😊 Have a wonderful week!
ngl, im struggling with pms quite badly right now, so this really gave me the motivation to get going today. my oldest is gonna turn 6 in two months and start school next year, still not sure if im more excited or scared
Jamie, It is unbelievable that all the girls are in school 🏫! They are growing up fast. I hope they have a wonderful fun school year! See you next week! So glad everyone is feeling good! God is so great! You and Mike are such wonderful parents!
I have a 7th grader this year, and I know the next 6 years are going to fly. This is a grandchild, and as I finish watching this video on 8/23, my baby, his father, is turning 35. It doesn't seem possible, yet here we are! Deep breaths, here we go!
@JamiesJourney I love watching your videos. You remind me of myself when my kids were little. I always tried to maintain things clean and organized. I unfortunately don't have the same time or energy to keep up with everything. When I need to feel motivated to get things done at home I watch your videos. I also watch them when I want to relax after a busy day. Watching your videos is therapeutic for me 😊
Hope they have a great year! It’s been so fun to watch them grow from high chairs to kindergarten ❤. On another note, I like using the spray way glass cleaner on my stainless steel appliances. It does great to shine.
Happy Sunday Jamie! Thank you for an another motivation video! I'll use this to get me more motivated in cleaning & organized for this week! Have a wonderful & blessed Sunday 🙌 🙏! 💛💛💛💛
My daughter was sick 5 days before school started (day before Open House…), but luckily felt so much better that next day for the most part so we got to go to the Open House still and she went back to daycare the day after so I could go to work. She was only sick for a day and a half luckily. THEN a full week into school and she now has a lingering cough but luckily that’s all so not worried. Most kids right now and even adults have a lingering cough. Still getting plenty of rest and cough medicine is needed to help it linger less time (works!). Overall, it’s that time of year for everyone unfortunately….dang colds and random bugs going around. Luckily nothing too crazy so I’ve seen anyways. Hope your daughter feels better now and they all 3 have a great start to the school year this week 😊 we’re on week two and going strong!
I'm sure that was tough being sick right before school started! I'm glad to hear it didn't affect the start of the school year too much. Everyone is doing well at our house!
Hi Jamie! I’m glad Addison is feeling better and she didn’t have to miss out on her first day. You have set your girls up for success! I’m sure they will have a great school year!
This will totally be me next week, getting ready for my kiddos to go back to school! I'm ready for it...I need the school routine back in my life! You gave me so many great lunch packing ideas, though! Happy New (School) Year, everyone!
It’s crazy that the twins are in kindergarten this year but even more so that Avery is in the 4th grade!! I can’t believe it! I hope they are enjoying school so far! ❤
Hi Jamie! Thank you for all the tips. (And reminder to wash laundry baskets!) Do you load the bucket of fruit and veggies once or twice a week? Have you found anything helpful in keeping it fresh through the week? I hope all the girls have a great first day and year to come! I'm a teacher and we started PD on Friday and I was SO glad! I can only imagine how much it helps the littles. I hope you and your family have a great first full week into the school year!
Hey Jaime, I love seeing your videos all the time! I definitely can't get over the before and after shots of the cleanings because they're amazing! I can't wait to see more videos every week! I definitely love seeing the girls in the background helping you clean up the area that you're cleaning. I'm actually waiting for some laundry to finish up in the dryer so that I can get it folded and put away for the week. ❤❤❤
Awe, I hope the girls have the best year! You're definitely setting them up for success! Great job, Mama!❤ it does go by way to fast! My baby is 23 and is now a special education teacher herself! Her 2nd year teaching! 🥰
