In this video, we're doing some back to school shopping and picking up some things for Justus' birthday party as well as our usual monthly Walmart purchases. Miss Hannah went back and forth between being a sweet, happy girl and a tired, grumpy girl, but we made it through the long trip. I think we wore Daddy out. He did a lot of work for us!

I love rewatching these videos. Andreas voice was so soothing, she was truely blessing and is greatly missed. Your relationship was the best! Especially when you (Tom) asked "will you wear this mask for me" lol ;)

Had an awful day at work. Spent most of the rest of the day/evening in a stupor wondering how I’ll ever be able to go back in there. Then I thought “maybe Andrea posted today.” I checked and viola! It helps...thank you!

You and Tom are absolutely adorable! It’s obvious how much you love each other. And I can’t believe how big Hannah is getting. She looks more and more like Claudia in this video. I buy candles in the discount or clearance section, then cut them up for candle melts. It’s cheaper then buying the special little cubes.

Yes I love the shopping trips. Reminds of when my son was small and doing all that shopping in the late evening because the store was not so crowded then. All the halloween things to buy every fall. That was lots of fun. I have only one son but you have a few more, so more fun picking out things for the children.

When Tom was looking at the lead for the mechanical pencils, I thought it was so ironic how you said "once again your the hero", and the song in the background in the store that was playing had the lyrics " a hero can save us".

These date night shopping videos are my favorite. Your husband and my husband have similar personalities and interests. And their humor is similar, too (at least from what I see in the videos). I miss small town living, but I sure love having stores so conveniently close, too. Haha If you all ever find yourselves in Denver I'd love to meet you and your beautiful family.

I think Hannah wanted the camera on her and not daddy. Did you notice how she quit fussing when the camera was on her lol? Tom is a trooper. That was a big job for both of you, but you made it. I am thankful for people like you in the world that make it such a blessing to live in. One of my favorites is shopping/date night!

The color pencil lead works wonderfully. I use it all the time now and all my teachers are shook when they see color lead. (I'm in college and shook means they are speechless just in case you didn't know.)

I was very pleased that Grandma Fern seemed so good when we went to see her this Monday. Physically, she's been doing very well. (She's been getting B12 shots that have helped her immensely.) Emotionally, she's been having a hard time leaving her home. This week was the first week in awhile that she hasn't cried when I visited. She was sitting out in one of the common areas at the assisted living place visiting with an old friend when we arrives. I was so glad to see that she's feeling a little safer and more settled.

No, we don't freeze it. We use it for baking, cooking and eating (toast, etc.). Twelve pounds each month comes out to a little over a Tablespoon per person per day.

Sorry this is completely off topic but I've been watching videos out of order and I wondered since you homeschool if your children will take a GED test when they graduate or is there a way to apply for a high school diploma? Your curriculum seems to be very good and comprehensive I just wondered if proof of their satisfactory completion would suffice for a diploma.

Parent-issued diplomas are valid in every state. There's no need to get a GED to go to college or get financial aid. hslda.org/content/docs/nche/Issues/C/College_Diploma.asp
