PLEASSEEEE use up school supplies you have first and then when you have used them opt for sustainable plastic free options, people quite often buy school supplies when they have plenty to use around the home, school supplies are INCREDIBLY wasteful 🥺💛💛💛

Rachel Lovegood i totally get people have a passion for collecting cool and cute stationary! I used to love doing that! ☺️ but we can also collect cute stationary that is sustainable! Or simply replacing your plastic writing pens for a reusable one made from natural materials can reduce lots of waste x😙💛

I'm doing this since a year now and it also saves so much money! Like I have so many post-its, pens and notepads to use that I am glad I didn't buy any new stuff. Also started to do this with make-up, it's so much better, saves money and reduces waste!

Ruby you are so inspirational, and I know you probably get that a lot, but you legit have helped me through some very hard times. Including getting severely bullied, changing schools, and the death of a family member. You have also helped become a better student and person. I used to hate school and was a pretty moody teenager. But then I found one of your study with me’s and I was so interested why someone would film them studying. But you are so much for than just studying. You are such a kind and amazing person. I know you probably wont see this but anyone who does in the wise words of ruby granger “have a productive week”

I've just got back into using fountain pens, I particularly like Platinum Preppy ones. Since I like using highlighters and I hate smudging ink, I have invested in some good waterproof inks. For black I like Carbon Platinum. For colours, I like the De Atramentis document ink. I also prefer to refill cartridges with an art syringe (dunked a mint green coloured pen a bit too far into some waterproof teal ink and it stained the pen!) But so happy with the inks, I can use my highighter pens over them! No more smudging!

Good for you for getting a converter (reusable cartridge) for your fountain pen! They really make fountain pens even more sustainable, not to mention you save tons on ink :)

Plus I feel like it's going to be a much more affordable option in the long run! I'm definitely going to get one for my Lamy pen once I've run out of disposable cartridges :) We NEED to reduce plastic consumption!

Check out Diamine bottles ink- the colours are amazing. They have the big bottles and also small sample size ones if it’s a colour you’ll use less frequently. I have a big bottle of oxford blue for everyday writing and also little bottles of green-black and burnt sienna :D

I used an antique fountain pen growing up - it had belonged to a great aunt, I think. It was a Bolton, and had a little lever on the side to pull up and down to suck the ink up out of the bottle into the pen. It was very convenient! I think the rubber bulb inside it has since perished?
