My dad had a Commander and a Champion the last Studie he had was a 57 President we loved them all I really miss my dad he knew good cars when he saw them ❤️❤️
Beautiful! I was 16 years old in 1969 growing up in Mankato, MN. Brings back memories of cruising Front St., drag racing, looking at the cars. My brother had a ‘69 red orange Dodge Charger, a friend a ‘70 Plymouth Roadrunner, a friend’s grandfather left them a pink, two door hardtop, ‘58 Cadillac (very cool), whereas I had a 64 Ford Galaxy 500 two door hardtop (not very cool) followed by a ‘68 Galaxy 500XL with a 390...(sorta cool for an 18 year old kid).
I had a 51 Stude with a Willys Jeep floor shift mounted on the borg warner tranny I bought as a junior in high school in Newberg Oregon. I painted it lavender with a diaphram compressor. Cool car even though I thought it was the ugliest car on the road.
My dad had a Studebaker 4 on the tree His was gray streeing wheel big as bushel basket no power on that car Then he got a new 51 Desoto I remember sitting in back seat an they looked as big as cough in house cars In those days you knew what they where Before you could see them because of sound they made Like Plymouth when it started whine for Minutes before she it the starting point ha ha
I saw a 62 Chev (my first car) and also surprised to see a couple Corvairs in a 50s car show? IMHO; A car show isn't valid without at least one Corvair. ;-)
Sadly from 2030 on all combustion cars, trucks and busses including classics will be banned from public streets in entire EU and Scandinavia :-( In Germany the Green Peoples Party gave order to shorten fuel supply from 2025 on by reducing petrol stations to only one state operated central gas station per city or county. They even plan to reduce the pump speed of public gas stations from 20 litre per minute to only 2 litre per minute to punish owners of combustion cars....from 2027 on in the EU certain car spare parts will be banned too....as exhaust systems, turbo chargers and even some engine and gearbox oils...California and New York will do the same from 2027 on.... So no investments should be done in oil burning cars any longer....They even created a completely new kind of crime here in Germany, called emissions and smoke crime.
My 6 friends - ( who, what, when, where, why and how), but apparently only "my" friends. Facebook curiosity. "It is what it is".Take the shot and shuddup-suiciety.- In other words, where the Jesus H. Mike is this? I really don't give a Barbara's Boxer who is playing the lame-o tunes.- Sucky camera work but assume car show.
This fool just bypassed that yellow MERC Didn’t even focused in on it you talk about annoying people with cameras that don’t know what they’re doing talk about annoying as a viewer oh well it is what it is.
If this is the way people restore cars in Minnesota - turning them into cobbled-up, hot rod junk - I'll stay in PA. What an insult to serious restorers and hobbyists the world over!
