Excellent Terry. Brilliant time machine mate great to see the class 33 running OK. The lights on the platforms look good and superb detail all round the scene, the shadows from the buildings has the trains pass through the station looks realistic. Excellent Terry superb mate. Cheers Kev.
Excellent video mate. The 80's were the true "Hay Day's" of the railway in my opinion, BR running the whole railway and all the best diesel and electic locomotives gracing the tracks. You capture that period of time very well. Enjoyed this very much.
Really like the 80,s era only missing Duran duran and Spandau ballet, waiting on the platform, nice selection of trains in all their weathered glory.special thanks for the class 86 a fav loco.
Ha ha I love your sense of humour Terry(considering me master in this hobby) I know an April fool when I see one lol. I think your the master now mate having seen all the detail on your layout. Cheers Kev.
Hi Glebe Road, just a quick comment to say how brilliant this layout is ! I know it's 7yrs ago now but I've been catching up with your videos and taking in a lot of ideas. As a returning modeller i will attempt to copy this level of detail for my own layout. Very well done Sir, If I can get my layout to this standard I will be very happy !! All the best, Andy.
Hi Andy Thanks for the nice comment mate. Unfortunately i no longr have the layout due to moving house several years ago but do miss the hobby still tho. If you ever need any help of info just give me a shout as i dont mind sharing my knowledge. Thanks Terry
@@bloodmarine77 Thank you very much Terry, sad to hear the layout is no more. I will be looking through your past vid's for inspiration. Take care and stay safe. Andy
Great job as usual. May i ask where do you get those dummy relais boxes that you lay along the tracks ?they give it a very nice feel or reality and improve the layout so much.I live in Portugal but i appreciate if you can tell me where to buy them through the internet. Thanks Joao
i totally agree.the 80's were the best era as i was born in the 70's i remember the BR blue era well but you are limited modelling only that era. but im glad you enjoyed it tho.
Thanks greg.yes i prefer the br blue era also.i was just gonna model that era but that means being limited by only a few locos and liveries.so i run everything from br blue to modern day.
where do you buy your 33's? Hattons only sell the WCRC which im planning of getting, but the NSE livery looks fantastic on the 33s, how much was yours?
the 3rd rail is not complete yet as you say and i have lots still to do to it.i dont as of yet own any 3rd rail emu's but i will be purchasing some soon enough tho.
thanks.im only limited with the footage as i only have the one side of the layout to film.cant wait to get cracking on the other side so i have a little bit more to add to my videos.
Well the 33,s are hard to come by now and i get them from where ever i can find them (ebay) mostly. I get the NSE 33 FOR £50 which is cheap but expect to pay around the £100 mark if your lucky enough to find one as these are the hardest ones to find.
thanks for the comment mate.i will keep an eye out for your video. i will be posting another video by the weekend too as i have another new loco on order which i should get tomorrow hopefully and i will be doing a review on it.
dont U just luv that sound of the clickety click.... I prefer the late 60's early 70's BR corp blue.... myself.... but great video and of course layout.... cheers
thanks a lot ian.i will be posting a video again during the week as i have a new loco on its way so im going to do a review on it along with the new turners warehouse that i built.
Yeah theresnot much choice is there really.i would check ebay as thats where i got my one from or check out the deleted list at rails of sheffield as thats where i got my latest 33 from and heljan stoped making that model a few years ago.
yes thank god.i was gutted when i dropped it as i had only just got it out of the box.but it looks fine and runs well so im happy.i just need to weather it now as it looked very toy like in this video compared to all the other locos.
