Dave is Marv,he just changed his name. He fell on hard times, and moved away from 'Hell Valley' because it was a lost cause by that point. By 1990 he was in Chicago and partnering with Harry to rob houses for a living. So actually Home alone takes place in the same timeline where Biff ruled Hill Valley, and Nixon was reelected 5 times.
I know that they are there at night, but do you ever notice how creepy it is that they never hang around long enough to show us what the alternate 1985 looks like in the daylight?
Dave sounded like he was just on the cusp of saying "And that's all I need... oh and this... This, the remote, this chair, and that's all I need... oh I need this... and that's all... all I need"
The reason it was deleted was because they didn't have a scene with Linda, because Wendy Jo Sperber was pregnant and wasn't able to do anything. So they figure if they didn't have her, then they might as well not have the scene with Dave...
Lets see... Original timeline: Fast food employee 2nd timeline after Marty got back from 1955: Some office job 3rd timeline after 2015 Biff gave 1955 Biff the almanac: Drunken bum 4th timeline after Marty burns the almanac in 1955: Same as the 2nd But I see your point. But then I forget where he was in episodes II-IV of Back to the Future: The Game 5th timeline after Doc & Marty get back from 1931 the 1st time: I think all 3 McFly kids were run out of Hill Valley by the Tannen crime family. 6th timeline after teenage Emmett hooked up with Edna Strickland & didn't go see Frankenstein: I forget where he was in the Citizen Brown timeline. 7th timeline after Doc & Marty get back from 1931 the 3rd time: I imagine same as the 2nd & 4th.
@@Nicksolo85 I don't think anyone earning an honest living should be called a loser though. Especially now with the coronavirus, people are starting to see the most important jobs outside of healthcare workers, are the delivery drivers, people preparing food, supermarket workers etc.
You’re right, Biff absolutely ruined the lives of the McFlys. He murdered George, he forced Lorraine to marry him against her will, he drove Dave to drink, he drove Linda to prostitution, and he drove Marty away.
Fun fact another deleted scene I saw is In back to the future 1, when George is late to going to Lorraine and Marty in the car he goes into a phone box and the bullies (not biffs gang) lock him in it
Only a few deleted scenes fit into the films. From the first one: 1) George McFly buys an entire case of Sophie Mae peanut brittle from a neighbor, Howard, and his daughter 2) Marty McFly asks a woman on the streets in 1955 to pinch him, but she slaps him across the face instead. 3)1955 Dr. Emmett Brown looks at his personal belongings from 1985, which include a hairdryer, some cotton underwear and a copy of Playboy. From part II: a) Old Biff and Old Terry in 2015. b) Old Biff fading out of existence c) Marty sees a burned out Hill Valley High School in 1985A d) Marty encounters his brother Dave e) Doc with a policeman and Mr Peabody. From part III: a) Doc and Marty check the tires of the DeLorean in the Delgado Mine, but the tires disintegrate right in front of them. b)Marty sitting in the DeLorean in the desert in 1885, with the gull-wing door up, looking through binoculars - possibly looking for Hill Valley. c)Doc and Marty bring the DeLorean to the livery stable by night.
Much of the 2nd movie stunk. Cringe portayals of Marty's aged relatives and kids, the retro restaurant sucked, barely memorable scenes, all setting up for a great third movie.
@@Deciheximal It was intended to show the dark side of time travel. Having them revisit the same scenes in Part 1 but from different angles I thought was brilliant. The original movie is still my favourite 👍🙂
I Really Wish That They Did Not Cut This Scene Out In The Movie Because I Love This Scene So Much Of Marty Meeting His Brother Dave I Know He Was In That First Back To The Future Movie But I Really Did Not That Dave Was In Back To The Future Part 2 Movie Until Now By After Watching This Scene Wow Great Scott!!!
The reason it was cut out was because the directors didn’t want to leave audiences wondering what happened to Marty’s sister, Linda. She was supposed to appear as a prostitute, but her actress, Wendie Jo Sperber, was pregnant at the time, so she was unable to appear.
The only down fall about this movie was it was a terrible excuse to go to the future. Also Fox playing his daughter ruined this for me. The only save with this movie is expanding Biff's alternate reality.
stupid scene, needed to be cut just drags movie down because no-ne really liked or cared much for Dave anyway, so it's not some horrible thing that he ended up this way.
+Azertyzzz_YTP Well if doc never built the time machine here. Then he never took their plutonium then they got some other crazy inventor to make their bomb leading to nuclear destruction.
Devin O'Brien That's not true at all the Lybians went after Doc specifically and no one else. They only went for Marty because he was there with Doc. Doc said that he stole their plutonium. And why would they just drive out to a small town in the middle of fuckhole nowhere just to shoot people they would go for a place that matters.
Devin O'Brien Which goes with the thought that they caused some nuclear war god knows where in this country unless they had problems with other countries.
