Thanks, Ed, for the info. on the sleds. Our family was talking about your lifestyle in Alaska. We don't know how you can manage with work, keep up with the cabin, issues that may arise, then film and edit to boot! You're one strong man! God Bless and good health to you. 🇺🇸

Ed is a unic soul with unbeliveble knowlage and skills. I am a streetguy from the red light distirct. I would have more fears in the world of Ed. Alone and no 911? As long as the body can handle all the stress Ed will make it. But I think that he needs much money or many friends that comes over for 2 weeks to support with the building projects like the bathhouse conection to the cabin or the wood shed building. The normal live its up so much time in the rutine or daily live program that there is not much time less for other projects. I am 60 in some weeks. My body is not the same as 20 years ago. 30 years in the FM World facility manager- the bones the eyes and so on. With a partner Eds live would be diferend. Even if not a parnter for"the night" but for the live- it could help. But how would like to live there when Ed is working 🙂 It must be a crew with 3-4 men or so...Frank from Hamburg

Hi Ed. Awesome video. That country is breathtaking. A couple of things about your turbo. It seems so narrow. Maybe that's part of the design of a mountain sled? Also, it seems like you've never had to give it much juice, like it has more power than you'll ever need! Some of those shots with the camera mounted on the front of the sled are fantastic...it appears as though someone else is filming at the front of your sled, the camera even shifted direction. That was a long day for you but fruitful. Fortunately no moose or wolves on the trail home. Take care.
@MountainMariner
@MountainMariner 5 месяцев назад
Yes, mountain snow machines are narrow so you can tip them to one ski easily. And the machine is new so I’m still in break in mode for about another tankful of gas. I’ve only hit full throttle for a few times and only for a couple seconds. It’s frightfully fast. I won’t be using full throttle very often on this thing.

I enjoy riding at night but, I do it when someone else is with me and I always carry emergency overnight gear. That really isn't a bad ride to town, it would save you a whole lot of money to go to town and back rather than the Helicopter. Do you think you will be using that sled to go get supplies? Trail snowmobiling is sit on the seat with both skies flat on the ground and normal smooth throttle input. Mountain riding you need to stand up, and frequently ride side hill with one ski up off the ground and throttle modulated to either level the snow under the track or keep from spinning the track too much. Constant throttle will get you stuck quick. Trail riding snowmobile users don’t understand that if they’ve never ridden in the mountains. Every comment section of mountain snowmobile channels you get the trail guys scolding mountain riders to stop pulsing their throttles. 🤣
