Geoffrey writing and playing is something else. So much complexity. The concept, changing of keys, all these bass lines and stack of chords. Another galaxy. The whole group sounds great.

That was a spectacular performance by all.

Wow - this was thrilling. I watched the "making of" video prior to it, and understanding the context and some of the ideas (like the use of triplets based on the vocal timings) made this even richer. I know I need to put my listening hat on when I'm listening to Geoffrey Keezer. 😊A big round of applause to everyone involved. 👏

Just wondering what amount of the transcription work is (semi-) automated these days (?!) A brief show on some of the behind the scenes stuff of transcription (I assume well-trained human ears plus some pitch recognition / rhythmic grouping software to help in the process?)
