Watching you two guys work together makes me cry. Precious. Sacred. Beautiful work, beautiful hearts. Life and death. So real. Brave, courageous and very smart. Be safe, be well. Great work Billy Ray as a father and lover of kindness. What a precious gift God gave you with that son of yours. Peace, love and joy to you and yours.
You are a gentle giant in a man’s body. You have been through the toughest that life can dish out and came out the other side. I love you as you love me because we have been through similar episodes and you give us all hope and a positive outlook on life. Lord, please protect this man and his family. Please put a hedge of protection around Billy as he is doing this dangerous work. Amen
Two great videos boys, thank you both very much. Really loved the second one with you both up in the trees. My favourite ones, the views are stunning. Love and kindness to all subscribers old and new around the world. The world is a better place for people like you Buckin Billy Ray. Take care and be safe dear friends. Graham🇬🇧🇬🇧🌲🌲🌲🌲
Ye are both extremely talented people and an absolute pleasure to watch u guys work together. If more people in this world were like you two it would be one amazing world. Much respect
Hey Buckin, love your skills. Ive been out of the tree cuttin business for bout 10 years now, my younger brother however has been climbing and running his own tree business for a few years now. Unfortunately last month he passed away and the family wants me to take over his business. Your videos have been a huge help dusting the cobbwebs off my own climbing skills and i've learned a lot from you. I do love your old school ways. Thank you and be safe.
That is so awesome all of it. Especially the two tops together. Thank you guys so much. Thanks for all the help and all the tips of cuttin trees. Love you man. Thanks Buckin and Ganges for a great pick me up. 🌲❤🌲✊
Y'all having a lot of fun up there and looking out for your son is the best blessing any young man could ask for in doing work that you both do. Showing him and the world the love and to love each other. My hat is off to you both. Have a great day and be safe.
heights are not the problem for me, it is widths. tall buildings have a great width, jets and airplanes are ok, ladders not so much, trees even less...
Thanks again for sharing the expertees. I don't need to try to be as good at climbing and cutting as you two. The footage is so good it feels like I'm there doing it!
That was a great video! Love watching you and your son together in trees. Sorry I missed the live feed today. Much love. Loved all your quotes you pushed in the video!
It looks easy and uncomplicated. It most certainly is not. There is so much that can go wrong if you aren't 100% sure what you are doing. Luckily, this man knows what he is doing! Thanks, Buckin'!
Good work you two!! The more I watch you guys climb the more I think about giving it a shot! I hope all is well and welcome to all of our. New subscribers! Love to you and the family❤️
Yeah me too, and even at 57 I think I can do it, I have a HUGE pine out here with 5 stacks going off from it, it used to have 6 but one snapped off a couple years ago, before I lived here...
I think we men can do it but it is all about your mind! This stuff was not taught to us a kids... but i wish i had that mentality because i use to climb and not give a crap... but now... i know crap is easy to break and takes forever to heal...lmao!....lol
That jumping cut was masterclass! you guys look so happy up there! :) Im going to be taking a step back from my current career to pursue tree work I love everything about it! Thanks from the vids Buckin
When I get to the top of a tree, and run out of gas in my saw . I remember all those times I left it running hanging off my belt. What a great video. Love it💚🌳💚🌳💚🌳💚
Buckin' the videos you and your boy make have helped me pass countless hours as well was taught me quite a bit about the art of working with trees. Thank you to you both, for the entertainment, education and positive affirmations. Take er easy friends
You sure have raised a fine Young Man, Mr Buckin, he’s a hard worker and has a big set of cahonas to climb like y’all do. I’m a carpenter by trade and would climb to the moon on a ladder, but the thought of being up a tree like y’all are scares the grease out of me !!! Love your videos, Thank you for the inspiration!!!
Hello Buckin Billy and Hogan-man and all the buckin army around the world. Here's another great view from up in the trees. I could of sworn that i heard someone recently say they was gonna be wearing gloves more often. Hmm, little ruff on the hands. The best most comfortable gloves i ever used were deerskin, but they are hard to come by round these parts. Little extra expensive but well worth it. I can feel the sawdust in my eyes. Great video... Stay safe, and kindness is truly a quality way to relate to our fellow humans, animals and trees. Cut 'em before they fall. And they do fall. Tree maintenance is preventing potential disaster.
billy, you are a great teacher! your explanations are on the point and unmistakable. if i were younger i woud swim across the ocean and beg to be trained by you! hogan, you have such a luck to have all this knowledge and expirience on your side. its such a pleasure to see how you work together.billy you are a wouderful dad and you have a nice son. but i think you know this......love to your all and stay kind!
Amazing work, incredible skill, and knowledge involved. As someone who has worked at heights (Not this height) I respect the strength, and stamina, and burn you are feeling in your legs. That is a really long time under constant tension, and you really don't get a break till you're on the ground again. I hope you are paid well because you are earning every penny for sure.
as an fellow arborist, i sincerely appriate ya'll very much. i enjoy learning from your wealth of experience. keep on keepin on boys. God is good all the time and all the time God is good. ciao
Awesome video, but they come so close to cutting the rope when in the tree sometimes. He's does an awesome job! Very informative also. I've been cutting firewood all my life but have learnt a ton watching your video's.
Man that must be so fun to work with those trees close to each other, just hopping to the other tree when needed. Thx for the great footage love from Belgium!
Billy i was so looking forward to the end of seeing all those trees reduced to stumps. Nice videos as always. You leaving a legacy for future tree cutters around the world. You setting the standards in tree cutting. God Bless you and your family and his hands protects you and the family.
I would love if you guys did a gear video. Climbing gear, favorite saws, little tricks of the trade. Another note Your videos brought me out of a dark place and the buckin army is awesome. Keep up the good work and videos!
Munters hitch and a strap. I teach all my new climbers it. I bomb decent size tops with it by myself. It helps when there's no ground guys to rig a top or huge leader/limb. Good for tip tying and controlling it yourself😁 it's a life saver for sure.
So glad I came across your page. I'm currently studying forest management at Hocking college here nelsonville Ohio, and I've been enjoying all the content you guys are putting out. Seeing you guys work out in the field get some excited for my future career becoming a Treeman!!!
I agree, i love his channel! He makes it look so easy! I never done this b4 but im learning and i hope to do this stuff so i can calm my neighbor down from a limb falling on his house...lol!.... I could call someone but if im careful and god is on my side and i have this guys knowledge with his teaching i can do it!... For go sakes i do stuff at work i never thought i could do but with good people and a big shove to do it.... im doing it!... I love good people... and for you ass hats...lol... you all mean well but god! You can intimidate a new comer...lol!
Wow!, A Lot of respect for this guys, and others in this, and other dangerous and underappreciated professions. Life and death in order to make a decent living. A slight miscalculation and turns to tragedy. This and Cell tower maintenance, not for the faint of heart. Stay Safe friends.May God Protect You and your Families .Blessings!!
As someone from England where big trees arent super common that's always been pretty anti-logging (with the obvious exceptions of dying/dead or infected trees ) I genuinely have so much respect for you guys lmao. This looks so fun to be able to do, but so damn risky and skillful. How do you even go about learning this? Must have to be pretty damn smart to work out wind directions, timing cut angles 'n all sorts of stuff required in this line of work
I'm from uk and my grandad was a tree surgeon and he said you can go to college or even get a apprenticeship and just learn as you work or some people grow up and they teach them
I hope your son knows how great he has a dad to teach him all your mistakes so he is a better lumberjack and he will always stay safe if you can show him your errors.... i love you both and be safe out there guys.... god loves you both and it shows it!....
