Good idea with the parchment paper! The MSR quick skillet is hard anodized aluminum (not Teflon). Is the one you show the MSR quick skillet or the MSR ceramic skillet (hard, anodized aluminum versus ceramic coating)? Have you tried both and which one would you recommend (or another brand)? (I am looking to buy on Black Friday and respect your opinion and testing)
