Hello i want to buy Backfire Zealot S but i don´t know where i can buy the right belt they don´t sell it on the website and there are no dimentions on the website too
I have a zealot and I did this to tighten the belts but by the end of the ride there loose again and I have to tighten them again. What do you think is going on?
What do you do when you break a belt when you're riding in your some distance away from home? Do you just replace the belt right there with some tools from your backpack?
I've never ridden one but I've seen one. Those hub motor boards are great for smooth roads low speeds and no hills. Bustin makes great decks so I'm sure it's a ripper.
I have a question: the metal gear wheel of the motor has a tiny little whole with a tiny little bolt in it. The board comes with two spare bolts. When I was first checking if all the bolts are tight, I noticed, that I´m not sure if the tiny little bolts are in the gear wheel, or they seem to disappear in the hole. I tried to loose them, but I couldn't. If I put the spare bolts in the hole, they won't tighten and disappear. They would touch the belt. Is this just the way it is? No major concern obviously, but I want to make sure, everything is the way it's supposed to be. Thanks for your answer to this unusual question of a beginner
Hey Jens! So that screw is called a set screw. It is a 3mm allen key to get it out.. very small. You'll have to put a flash light into it or blow some air to get any dirt out to see the screw. As long as that gear isn't moving horizontally you are ok. You'll be able to tell if the screw is loose because the gear will also be loose.
@@onel0wcubn thank you for the answer. So it seems, that the screws are in their place. One more question: my Zealot seems to have no option to tighten the belts. Are there different models? The board rides fine, so no complaints about that. But the belts seem to have slightly different tightness. Is that ok? I´m having a lot of fun riding that board and I love to do maintenance. Any good advice is very welcome. Greetings from Germany
@@jensk.6791 Yes, the later model Zealots not longer have the option to loosen or tighten the belts. I believe they are just set in place and when a belt gets loose you just have to replace it.
ATTENTION!!! I tried twisting and pulling, only my wheel came off, when I tried loosening my motor, with the pulley on, I couldn’t pull the motor to tighten. I am trying to change the back right belt.
@@onel0wcubn WHY? Mine are uneven!! I’ve gone through 3 different videos and now I found this and I was so confused like “bro his can move WHY CANT MINE” lol. What do I do though???
@@chewypinecone Just have to replace the belts unfortunately. Try ROMP belts. you can use the code DCESK8 for a discount. Those are the belts I use on my zealot that I can't adjust the tension on.
