Marc, These videos are great for an intermediate player like me and I’m sure for all other levels. I came across your videos on RU-vid but will now follow on Facebook. Thanks for your contribution to the game!
No kidding, Marc, you are virtually single handedly making backgammon exciting and fun and interesting for new audiences like myself. You should take great pride in that and keep giving us amazing streaming content like this as well as your other videos! We love them!! Theory, speed matches, commentary over games, it's all awesome. THANK YOU
great video Marc. you got taken advantage by that 18xx rated player :) BTW my wife bought me the Cube Like A Boss book for Christmas. Need to read it. I need to get more consistent in my playing as I go from 5 to 7 rating games all the way uptp 10 to 15 rated games. MY wife hopes you can fix the "bug/issue" on backgammon galaxy so you can change which side of the board you bear off on...... especially since she bought yoru book :) (incentive). take care my friend. Good luck in the Gibraltar tourney
As a newbie, only a couple months in, it's hard to follow your moves when you play with such a quick timer. I wish you would slow down and explain why you're about to make a move but with speed, you often just move...but you definitely do comment on the game and it _must_ take away some of your focus to have to multitask. I just gotta get better...have a LOT to learn :) Thanks for this demonstration!
@@Marcolino10DK thanks for kindly replying to me! I watched the beginner mistakes videos and the blunders video, which was how I found your channel, before I watched you play. I've also watched the Backgammon quiz which showed me how little I know and videos on other channels. I am a beyond beginner player but that's all. Funny thing is, I was doing much better before I learned more about move theory. Now I'm playing worse...I used to play less flexible and now playing more correctly, I'm getting hit a lot more and loosing more. Are there any other videos that you could suggest for me that are slower. Also, is there anyone at Backgammon Galaxy who would enjoy helping me one on one? I think I need a tutor. Thanks again for all you do. I really appreciate you! BTW, I play on The Backgammon from the Microsoft Store. I was following the computer's moves which I learned from other videos are not the best moves. Apparently I can't learn from the computers moves. It will put a 4/1 on the stack of three rather than split the move for example. Again thanks!
If you are a serious player don’t put your good name to this site. It’s a fake. Half the time it’s a computer. It’s not sophisticated enough. Your a fake for promoting it.
