I tried my luck with some poor weather which ultimately got the best of me sending me home a little early. Regardless, I got one great day and night on one of my favorite mountains all to myself. My other channel@SawForgeGarage
Absolutely beautiful there. I used to live fairly close to there. Love the Ruby Mountains. It makes me homesick. You always do such a great job with you videos and narrations. Keep it up buddy and thank you for sharing. Larry
Didn't know you played the piano. I'm even more impressed you hiked a piano in there. Pretty brookies. Glad you didn't break a rod this time. Smart carrying an extra.
Man I've broke far to many so a backup is pretty much mandatory for me. I get more upset breaking a couple hundred dollar rod then an expensive camera, which I've also done more than once.
It was a colorful trip. I had a great time despite heading out a little early. Have a blast on the Highline. Looking forward to hearing about it when you get back.
I should have paid attention to the forecast. In all seriousness though, I go here once a year. One of the reasons is that view from the pass. The second is because I'm usually alone. Might be the days I go, but I haven't ran into many when I'm up there. Cheers brother
@@thebackpackblazer3973 Just so you know, the lake at the 1:31 mark actually has some nice lake trout in it. Four or five years ago I had one get off as I was trying to net it that was mid 20's. I was using a minnow that I let sink for over a minute on a full sink line. They're in there
@@TroutHowler Yes sir that's the other reason I go there. I snapped a 5 weight rod there a few years ago and been chasing the one that got away ever since.
