This a backpacking trip in the North Cascade Mountains of Washington state. The North Cascades are a rugged and beautiful area with some of the best backpacking in the U.S. The Adventure Mom has been backpacking in the North Cascade mountains for 50 years but somehow, has never backpacked to these particular mountain lakes. When she said they're on her backpacking bucket list and asked if I'd hike in with her, of course I jumped at the opportunity. This spot on the North Cascades has some amazing trail, spectacular view and freezing temps! Enjoy this backpacking video into the heart of the North Cascade mountains!

It was hard to hike in 12 miles knowing there was no fish! The scenery did help out some though ;)

Adventure mom is a trooper! That’s so cool you get to spend time with her like that. Maybe next time just take her to brunch though 🤷🏻‍♂️ that looked like quite the journey.

What an awesome way to spend time with your mom. I wish my mom were able to get out there like that. I always show her pictures of my adventures but as you know, there's nothing like being there. To cool!! Thanks for taking us along. 🍻
