This was a 3-day solo backpacking trip in the Sunol Regional Wilderness, a 30-minute drive from the Silicon Valley in California. Large sections of the trail pass through open cattle grazing areas, and cow encounters are a regular occurrence. Btw, apologies to all my vegan friends!

Nice trip and video! It is more than a bit disturbing if those burgers do not go bad in four days. I will not be testing that out. LOL.

Great Video! Any chance you have a map of the route you took on this trip? It would be awesome if you could share!

This is where I took my older daughter (8 at the time) on her first overnight backpacking trip. Looking forward to it reopening for my younger daughter’s first (now I 6... hopefully this year!)

That's great! It's definitely a perfect spot for beginner backpacking trips :)

@@StepMassive Indeed! We just did the 6-mile loop from the Sunol visitor center out to the camp and back. It was in October so Little Yosemite was dried up, but hoping to get back out there with the younger one when it's a bit wetter. Nice to have the option so close!
