This place is just 50km from my house I have been there when I was in 11th std with my friends never imagined it carries such a great History till now I use to assume these were build by Shivaji maharaj lol Because there is lohgad fort and you can see fort from those cases . The best time to visit is on during sunrise or during sunset you can actually see the beauty of the place . Is there no record to suggest us that who build such beautiful structures this are one of the oldest places I have ever seen you literally feel some kind of energy when you sit Quite in those chambers very magnificent . You helped a lot to know about it

These caves were built by the Satvahannas and whenever they won any fort....they used to built caves and Satvahannas were Buddhist

Located in lonawala from lonawala it'll take 20 to 30 minutes to reach there
