Nice video. Takes me back to my younger days. Copper Glance Lake at "larch time" is as beautiful as any I saw in over 35 years of hiking in the Cascades. Particularly in the right light conditions, the combination of the blue water, rough rock cliffs and almost artistically arranged larches is absolutely exquisite.
Great time lapse in the beginning with the Big Dipper all bright and full of light. Also, seems like you are having more bear encounters since 1000 acre meadow.
Did this hike about a week ago, was my first solo day hike and man this place is so beautiful, sucks it downpoured most of the time but hey that’s mountain weather for you
Just got back from a 6 Day trip in the Eagle caps. September will be good, no bugs. Expect thunderstorms in the evenings. Eagle cap is an easy summit from horton pass there is a trail. It got really busy since my first time there in 2017/18 (cant remember the year). Lots of hikers and campers.
and... pls dont keep us in suspense for too long as your videos help us to get through all the avalanche of propaganda were experiencing these very days. I am diagnosed with the dumb too welcome to the club!
