Hello! Very helpful video, as always. Is a 12m kite a good kite to start learning aerial loops? I am 145lbs. I have heard mixed things, some people suggesting smaller kites to loop quicker but needing more wind to ride. I have a 12m Evo and 9m Neo. Which would you recommend starting with? Thank you!
Great video - but what about kite selection. What size kite / what type /line length etc given the wind speed? (7s turn faster than 12s and some models are super slow no matter the size, add 24+m lines to some kites and they're really slow... )
In 17kt I would recommend to learn it with 9/10m kite (for average 80kg person). As you feel more comfortable with this trick you can later do it with 12m or even 13m kite.
thanks for this one :) how to avoid over rotation? sometime I don't turn enough to be sure to not over rotate but it's worst aha lost confidence in this tricks because of big crash
keep practice ! when starting rotation tell your mind ı will get turn only one time :) start move your kite while complating half rotation. after that try do one hand backroll if you good at it one hand and downloops you are ready for this trick
@@berkeozyigit1199 since I learned lateback when I over rotate while doing backroll kiteloop now I add an other rotation, in fact I did manage to have clean backroll kiteloop, but once again now I struggle again and over rotate. it's endless ahaha
Hello SK. On my channel's homepage, near the top, should be a "join" button. On mobile it's just below the the intro video usually. Here's a link for membership info, perhaps that will work: ru-vid.com/show-UC2AvhQhxmgRpM32IYE5qkOAjoin
@@kitesurfcollege Thanks for your reply, I found the link in the navigation video. Maybe you could put them at the top of the member playlists as well. Genuine could find it easily and RU-vid doesn’t prompt you to get the membership when you click a membership video.
Sorry that happened Carles, that sounds very unlucky. I think it's probably best to guard your head with an arm as I guess a gum shield could cause some problems like choking or drinking water by mistake. I tried a camera mouth mount while wing foiling, and got very sick because my local water is polluted and it got on the mouth mount. If you try it let us know what you think.
soooo confused about when to pull the loop with the forward part of the bar (as other videos have been teaching for initial kiteloops and kiteloop transitions) and the back hand version, as in this video. aghhh
