This upload replaces last year's because of vastly improved sound quality! If you missed it, here's your chance to hear a great episode.
in fact, it's one of the Suspense all-time best & most popular episodes. Read on, below.
••• Broadcast date: February 3, 1949 (This memorable story was repeated twice, once again a couple of years later with Fibs & Molls . . . Then again in later years with different actors)
✓√✓✓√√✓✓✓√√√✓√✓√✓✓√√ STUFF-N-SUCH: Molly certainly had her troubles with alcohol. It's true, and it's one of several reasons the couple wasn't offered to do their extremely popular radio show on television, although a very lame TV pilot was created with different actors.
• Suspense, an entity of the public domain. • Click here, obtain computer virus www.TunesToTube.com •
• Another program " Uploaded with Care " by Charlie Stuckey • 2018-19 and (hopefully) beyond •

This was an excellent episode of "Suspense" featuring Fiber McGee and Molly. Fiber McGee and Molly had their own weekly comedy show, which my childhood family listened to on a regular basis.

I've listened to many episodes of Fibs + Mols . . . Good entertainment. They really did an excellent job in this Suspense episode.

The air is crisply cool with dramatic sunsets…now is the time for ghost stores and fantasy! Perhaps two radio play ghost stories I’ve produced AND a brand new mystery listed on my channel “Claude Chabot Presents” right here on YT AND a radio fantasy comedy, “A Trip to the Moon” starring Joyce Randolph of The Honeymooners, which features Larry Robinson, who, as a child actor, actually worked with Orson Welles. Here’s the link: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Hex2ltykNTM.html--Claud. If you don’t want to click the link just search “Claude Chabot presents” on RU-vid.

A half hour pilot was produced for Johnson, with the Jordans, in 1950. I am told it exists, but is locked away. I have two drafts of Phil Leslie's scripts for that pilot, and you can tell why the series would never have worked as a weekly television series.

Yes! I've seen a pilot produced without the real Fibber or Molly - Molly was played by Suspense regular Cathy Lewis - I don't recall who played Fibber. It was posted on RU-vid (by my good friend) at the Dennis Morrison Channel. It's great that you have scripts

If the police didn’t show up at Fibber’s house, all he had to do to stop the bad guy was let him open up the closet and CRASH! he’d be in trapped in the avalanche!

Always loved ''Fibber McGee and Molly', and 'Suspense!', so this little combo quickly became my favorite episode, when I heard it on Sirius radio. Thanx muchly for sharing this little treasure! Edit to add: Just noticed the original air date for this show. It's 6months older than me.

Really well acted. This episode is growing on me and might become my favorite. Love to hear McGee and Molly getting a chance to show their acting chops outside of the same roles they played so constantly.

I am most definitely enjoying them that’s for sure are use programs for editing in that for voice recording and restoration and sometimes there’s only so far you can rest rate without it sounding really crappy I’d have to say you didn’t awesome job with these ones or to the person who did them as well I meant to say what an excellent job sorry about the miss typing I’m visually impaired and I’m using dictation on my phone

Many years ago, I purchased sets of Suspense and Escape from a guy who did audio restoration. I looked for him a couple of years ago, but he's totally vanished from the internet. I'm still the only uploader who presents the best sound quality for every program. I hope you are enjoying these!

I thought it originated during the depression. But in all honesty, Im not sure. I'm in Michigan, not familiar with southern California history.
