@@bongo2209 Just to explain as you're obviously not too bright, the Osmond's were a 70's boy band made up of the Osmond brother's, plural, I can only see ONE of the brothers, therefore he is an Osmond, singular. It's good to learn and I am pleased I have been able to educate you today.

Fabulous to see and the memories that I had of the Osmond Family. There were the Christmas shows with Andy Williams, the Donnie and Marie Show, and Donnie’s song Puppy Love!! Oh, so many years ago. Thank you for bringing this to us and many thanks to Merrill fir allowing you to film so many wonderful shots and speaking with you. Loved this!!

Wonderful, very talented family. I first saw them at Belle Vue in Manchester in the 70s. Great to see them still going in their 60s, Happy retirement to Merrill, his family deserves to see more of him. Great example of good clean living decent people . thanks for the music xx

It's funny isn't it? As a 10 year old when the Osmonds hit it big, I could not stand them. Let's face it, my older sister and her friends were obsessed with them and that was enough for me. But time moves on and whenever I have seen the family since their teenybopper domination years, I slowly but surely, perhaps even begrudgingly, came to acknowledge and appreciate that they did have real talent and that my childhood objection was founded on nothing more than rejection of my damned big sister (I even like her these days! - I must be getting soft). But also, in my, erm, very middle agedness, I really appreciate the wholesome, clean living values the family have always espoused, if only the kids of today had these types of role models.... So, well done Merrill, a happy, long and well deserved retirement to you. I wish you good health and happiness. Thank you for the entertainment and fine example that you and your siblings have given to the world.

@bccrayfish Jay is not really performing. He wrote his story, which is a musical being shown in the UK. Last I heard it is supposed to come to the USA next year.

What a lot of people didn’t know was that Merrill and two other brothers preformed in a small venue in London. The union chapel is an amazing small venue and it seemed like Merrill literally shook hands with everyone there . This was just a couple of years ago and I feel privileged to have been there

I remember the Osmonds from way back. They sucked big time. T Rex for me all day long. Vegas is just a glitzy Blackpool with hot weather and prostitutes. But whatever floats your boat.

Totally agree Hugh, although I would imagine " ladies of the night" are available in Blackpool if you know the right places. Las Vegas, Benidorm, Blackpool are very similar places. Crass, tacky and sad. I'm not a snob but these sort of places make me feel ill. 😫🤮. I feel Alex is trying his best to appeal to middle aged and older chavs and is appearing rather desperate. Not a good look. I feel he needs to "up his game" if he wants to attract more younger, educated followers and subscribers. Personally I would rather have a cup of tea and read a book. I have become rather boring in my middle years but have also come to appreciate culture and the arts. Each to their own.

Yes he was trashing Jays musical before it started touring. He tried to say some members of the family were against it and that he was speaking on behalf of them which he wasn't. Since the musical has been such a success he has shut up.
