This kdrama is what we really need in this time of pandemic. I love how the director and writers developed the story. Here is a list of the things I love about Backstreet Rookie : 1. The leading actor did not fall in love instantly with the leading actress (diverging from a typical plotline) 2. The story did not focus on themes like revenge, trickery, violence, extramarital affairs (sensationalized), and betrayal. Instead, it focused on values such as family devotion, honesty, and loyalty, and willingness to sacrifice everything for people who matters most. 3. The most interesting feature of the story (in my opinion) is its lightheartedness. During these days, we all need to feel that we are on the winning side most of the time and that is what the writers gave to us by giving the story 65% sweet moments, 15% troubled times, and 20% laughter moments. Not to mention, the antagonists are not that evil-minded. Hence, it created a sweet and smooth ride up to the last episode. I hope there will be season 2 or maybe a drama that resembles this one. P.S. they also chose the best actors and actresses for this one. I look forward to watching more kdramas with Kim yoo Jung as the leading actress.

this kdrama is one of my fav. I love how it focus on family, honesty and good values in life rather than just focus on romance. It teach us so many good things like being kind to others, always have trust on someone you love and a true love.

It would be hard for me to move on from this drama 😭❤️

Such an underrated kdrama but it is literally my favourite, totally recommend ❤. Honestly I feel like “something” by Kang Daniel is amazing and allows so many memories to rush in same thing with “treasure” by colde I cry every time I listen to them😞

Creo que de todas las series sur coreanas. Esta ha sido la mejor que he visto desde el principio hasta el final me ha gustado. Tambien me gusto como se reencotraron despues de 5 años eso estuvo lindo. Fuese bonito que hicieran 2 temporada pero creo que esta un tanto complicada ya que la mayoria de este tipo de series no tienen 2 temporada 😍😍😍
