Bonnie rules the pond except for Clyde's Cave,lol,love it. Bonnie has Clyde,Sheriff has Outlaw and Deputy,you know Moby is going to need a Dixie sooner or later.

You should get a big plastic tub or build another small pond and fill it with minnows (fatheads, shiners, something like that) and decorate it with aquatic vegetation and stuff so it looks nice. Let them breed and then you'll have a nice sustainable way to feed your pets

Love the backyard bass pond. I think personally I would have opted for more pond vs waterfall. For the fish that you keep it’s not big enough. For those fish I would have created a wider pond. Especially considering the size your yard 🤔

Still have no clue why some areas use pvc while others poly... I personally dislike pvc because repairs are harder and take loner to fix plus installs with poly are quick . That rainbird green stripe pipe used where they can't trench is nicknamed funny/swing pipe and usually only used to run to a single head not used to branch off to multiple because the small 3/8 inner diameter can restricts the flow.

What a cool backyard project. It's turning out to be a high tech artificial miniature habitat. It's so much more interesting than the neighbors suburbia blue luxury pools packed in closely all around you. That's golden to have a yard as space to live in and even a fortified wall demarcating your slice of the world for privacy and security.

We started Moby out in a 55 gallon aquarium but with his appetite he quickly outgrew it and now lives in a 300 gallon. So anywhere between 55-300 is a starter but may not last forever.

I had a female red eared slider for years. She loved grapes! And she was quite friendly, but we had to be careful cause the end of a finger looked very similar to a grape :)
