In today’s vlog we have our Thanksgiving dinner, we make lots of food, talk about imaginary boy bands, make new traditions, burn the steak and Jackson tries new foods. Then we continue the next morning where we talk about how we’re missing Bandit and have a bit of a sad moment. Then we break a plate and watch The Mandalorian. It was so good! Oh Jenn, it touched my heart so much to hear you talk about Bandit ❤ we recently started vlogging, and included our boy Max, he was about 15. We lost him at the beginning of this month and I miss him so much. But I'm so glad we have videos with him to help remember. Having lost my dog really unexpectedly over quarantine, I can relate to those feelings. I was just missing him tonight when I clicked on this video. I really needed to hear Jenn say it was alright to feel upset sometimes- thank you for the reminder. hopefully my dog (bleu) and bandit are somewhere better

We lost Max on June 29 and it still seems unbelievable. It happened so fast. I am so sorry that Bleu has passed and you have the pain of missing your fur baby.

Awww, Jenn! I feel you, girl. I roasted the turkey wings to make stock on Wednesday, I pulled them out and cut the meat off. I looked at the plate of turkey, and the bowl of veggies, and lost it because my best dog wasn't there for me to give it to. He's been gone for 6 years, but never in the 10 years we had him, did I make turkey stock. I felt so guilty for not doing it while he was alive because it was so easy. I had a rough day, too. We called the grand parents, but we lost the last great grandparent last year, and I was just hurting for the nostalgia of the family gathering at her house on holidays, even though we'ven't lived near the family in years and usually celebrate with just our immediate family. Just the knowledge that we couldn't call, or show up to a done dinner made me ache. And then there's always the mom thing, but you know about that. That hole is always there and sometimes it gets ripped back open when the other stuff feels so empty. Hold on to the memories and cry when you need to. Love ya!

I cried Jen when you got emotional about Bandit, my dog is getting older and i treasure every moment with her. I think times like Thanksgiving are times when you do look back to things like those loved ones that you miss and our dogs are so much part of the family and we all miss Bandit too. Please don't ever apologise about getting emotional about that, we watch your life and we don't expect it to be all smiles and happiness all the time, that's not real life. Lots of love xxx

In 2019, we lost both our twin cats (Tigger and Cannelle) who were literally born on my lap and hand-reared by us 13 years earlier and our 4year old dwarf rabbit (Pablo) . It was dreadful and extremely sad. We had our 7 yo ginger cat left luckily and adopted 2 lovely Rescue kittens from our animal shelter at the end of the year. But the pets we lost, we still talk about them every day and they stay loved and with us in spirit.

My Dad died last Christmas and I have been thinking of him a lot and I think the holidays was the trigger. It's okay to miss them and think happy memories. Plus, Mom and I were together alone to stay safe. It was a good day.

I know I watch you guys all the time but there was just something about Jackson today I feel like I blinked and he became a little boy, not a baby. He's so sweet. Keep up the great work! I was diagnosed with Stage IV inflammatory breast cancer in July 2019 at the age of 26. At the beginning of November we learned the cancer has spread to my brain. I was going to law school, now I'm not sure what I'll be doing with my time. Thank you guys for all that you do in creating content and also being real. Sometimes life just isn't great, but you keep pushing forward as best you can.

I had to put my sweet girl Stella down last Friday, it was such a difficult Thanksgiving for us as well. I totally feel you when you were talking about Bandit. I also lost my dog around the same time and I still think about her every day and cry at least a couple of times a month. You are not alone with these feelings and I always appreciate when people are open and honest with how they feel. Our 11 year old cat, Spencer, died July 11th this year and the holidays are tough without him. We did get a new kitty but Spencer is still missed. You never forget them.

I understand with having a hard day on thanksgiving. It was the first thanksgiving without my grandma and last thanksgiving I was sick crying to her and she told me that she wished there was something she could do for me as she was in hospice. There’s nothing I wouldn’t do to get that time back with her.

November 30 will mark 2 years since my lil' George (Chihuaha) passed away. - Grief is like the ocean; it comes in waves, ebbing and flowing. Sometimes the water is calm, and sometimes it is overwhelming. All we can do is learn to swim. That is the most accurate description of grief I've ever come across.

We lost one of our cats during quarantine and this is my first Christmas without him in 16 years. So I totally get it. Gonna be a tough one, especially once the tree is up and the other cats start sleeping under it, cause that was always his favorite part of the holiday. Gonna be weird not seeing him asleep on the tree skirt with his sister. 🥺

Hi guys, I'm a nanna of a many years . You can totally give Jackson meat. If it's steak or turkey, use a knife and scrape the meat so it's a bit of paste, put on plate and spoon into baby's mouth. Jen, I lost my 14 yr old fur baby last week. I'm heartbroken, it hurts so so much to be without her. Every day something reminds me of her. Bandit was a great character, I miss him too. My grandparents always put it up the Friday or Saturday after. At some point, the tree got wrapped in linen ornaments and all for storage, so all we have to do is bring it up, unwrap it, and plug it in.

I got a Facebook memory yesterday reminding me it had been 2 years since our good boy Harley passed away. Thankfully he had an awesome last Thanksgiving with lots of love, play and yummy food.
