Oh as a child in NZ I remember mum making bacon and egg pie. Next day we would go out in dad’s boat and fish for snapper around the Rangitoto reef. When we were hungry land on Mckenzie beach have a swim and eat the pie for lunch. Oh I loved those days and snapper for dinner.

U have to whisk the egg with cream, that way you get creamy and soft scrambled egg throughout the pie.....just cracking them in there is just lazy and tastes shite
