Sounds like a spot-on bowl of comfort for those first brisk days, 30-40 something degrees here in Maine, come early Autunm. The only addition would be some homemade Garlic Bread to wipe the bowl completely clean. :-) (and then a nap) TYFS

I heard you just say you're from South Florida and that surprises me because so many of your recipes have a Chesapeake and I would even say an Eastern Shore Flair about them. I never had Frumunda cheese but I heard about it in the navy.

I made the soup and changed some of the ingredients and it came out amazing

All food is healthy. If you are literally starving, the body needs extra fat for the calories. Otherwise you will die. We’re not starving anymore, nor are we working hard anymore. We just sit on our asses and think were deprived. These foods were meant to nourish you. If you are truly starving it will help you survive. In reality you wouldn’t have these wonderful ingredients available.
