I've seen another comment mention the popular theory that the shadow clone is Cody. You talked about it possibly being Tech, another popular theory. There is third fairly popular theory that he is a clone of Crosshair. We learned a bit about our mystery boi. He's a crack shot, he has a hard time following orders, and he does kinda do that drawn out hiss Crosshair does. I believe when Crosshair first joined the empire back in season 1 they mention wanting to use him as a base for a new breed/gen of clones. Or, my personal thoughts. Perhaps they implimented some kind of gene therapy/memory modification on the Shadows. Allowing them to give the Shadow clone troopers Crosshairs abilities and sniping experience, but not actually clone him. Look, the last time the fandom got hung up on some faceless dude, he turned into a puff of nightsister fart magic, >.< I'm just saying just because he's surviving doesn't mean it some big reveal. lol

It’s likely this Operative is Cody. In Legends, Cody was made into a super trooper, so it makes more sense that we’re dealing with Cody and not Tech. Plus, if Crosshair said his defective nature didn’t work for reconditioning, it’s likely Tech would be in the same boat if he were alive.
The temple where Rex and co are set up is on Teth, from the first mission in the Clone Wars movie - also in the Ahsoka series more recently. I like Hunter telling Rex he's fighting a war he can't win, when we know he makes it all the way to Endor, to bring around the end of all this.
I'm with team Edith I believe Omega will eventually escape the clutches of papa palp and is the reason he never got a perfect host body. IMO I think Omega's blood has special properties like a type O and AB- that allows for the m-count transfer to occur without degradation.
What I enjoyed about this episode the most is that Rex’s underground found a base of operation on the same planet from the clone wars movie (2008), where Obi faces Ventress for the first time. The animation was so good in these two episodes. It wasn’t even funny, for me this is the best season of the show, it’s so good and it does have a everything is going to be drawing to a conclusion type feel, even if I didn’t know, it was the final season. Anyway, I hope everybody’s doing well. I just hope we get another animated show announcement in the same vein as TCW/rebels/bad batch, and then I can be super happy. I think we’ve got another double episode coming in like the next 2 to 3 weeks as well, I’m just stupidly looking forward to everything that’s ahead at this point, no joke. I’m stoked. Seeing legacy animated characters was awesome also. I’m thinking one of the assassins may be Cody.
Well hello there and wow thanks for telling us about the planet being the Ventress/Obi first time showdown. that's a good one!! I agree, this season is soooooooooooooo good and it does feel like we are being led to an ending. I hope for another animated show as well, they have certainly not disappointed us. oh yay another 2-episode night !! woohoo!! Seeing Wolf was GREAT!! So fun. And other folks are saying Cody too which will be heart breaking of course but it being Tech I think would be way worse for us. I love this show. I'm so ready for Ventress to show up. @@remoterebels2 as somebody who finished reading dark disciple, literally about two weeks before the final season started it’s made me more excited even more so, especially the amount of legacy animated characters having cameos as well. I don’t think any of the assassin is Tech unless they really want to pull a Marvel Winter soldier job, something I don’t want because I think it would cheapen tech sacrifice. I’m glad everybody is doing okay, if I could say one reason I’m waiting for the season to end so I can go back reading Star Wars novels, specifically, the Thrawn ascendancy, and the original Canon Thrawn trilogy that was released during season three and four of rebels. Right now, I’m just doing the best I can, I don’t get much enjoyment from life, but I do like the things that I get enjoyment from, like Star Wars for example, in the most insane way possible to the point where it takes over my life with zero fucks given.
