I was born in California and my parents moved to Hawaii. I have seen snow but I never experienced it until I actually moved to Washington. It is amazing, although people who lived there their entire lives probably viewed it a bit differently. So I can understand Omega's reaction and it made me smile because she has never seen dirt before. It kind of makes me wonder what it was like for other clones when they got off world for the first time when they see something Kamino doesn't have like plants or snow or visible sunsets. Its the same thing with Rey and when she saw trees for the first time or she just held her hand out in the rain on Ach To. Although they never showed it, I bet Anakin was blown away by Naboo and all the water it had. I just imagine him splashing around in it and just Obi wan and Qui gon looking on at him with the same look that Hunter and the others give Omega.
@Anakin Skywalker CW Anakin, it's okay, it's going to be okay. Just, take a deep breath, close your eyes, and try to think of the Naboo lake countries. Just don't think about... it.
I like how Omega is basically the exact opposite of the young Boba Fett in terms of personality and gender. Now we have two very different unmodified clones of Jango.
She could technically still be unmodified. Just slap in two of Jangos X chromosome into a vat instead of the X and Y. Its obviously more complicated than that, but you get the picture.
SHE'S AN ADORABLE CINNAMON ROLL THAT MUST BE PROTECTED AT ALL COSTS. I mean I haven't genuinely cared for a character like her in a long time like honestly I was scared for her everytime she's on the run for her life. 😭😭😭
Given how she was made before Bad Batch and probably Rex as well she is older, but she is still a child who never played any games or made friends since she is always working with Nama Su
You should have put in the scene where she's playing with the communication device Echo, what are your coordinates? (Echo right behind her) It's not a toy, remember?
Omega and Grogu are the Star Wars little siblings that we'd protect and love if they were part of our personal family.Adorable in their own special ways.
@@karlosmehil7754 yes I agree grogu is cute but I feel like he’s just some cute character who only exists to sell more merchandise, specifically for kids. I always see grogu merchandise and never the other characters. I can’t judge omega since I haven’t watched the show yet.
@@HogBurgeryou should, its the best star wars show ive watched given i havent watched rebels or TOTJ and skipped through alot of TCW... but its still awesome
A friend of mine put it really well. Omega is very much a necessary part of the show because she adds warm, wholesome moments to what would otherwise be an extremely dark show.
@@SirBlackReeds She was added by Filoni. This entire show clearly had extremely minimal interference by Disney. And what are you on about? "She represents etc. etc." Filoni has always included younger characters for younger audiences. Ahsoka joins TCW when she's like 14.
@@SirBlackReeds Because this new canon and it's character totally wipes out all of the extended universe stuff that everyone liked. It's not like all that material is still very much available to purchase and enjoy at one's leisure. No, definitely not. All the books, games, and comics with all those stories no longer exist, and no one can ever enjoy them ever again! Woe and despair, whatever shall be done! The recent re-releases of Jedi Knight, Jedi Academy, Republic Commando, and the announcement of the Kotor remake are but salt in the wound that is our endless agony! However shall we cope!? Whatever is to be done to fill the void that is the Star Wars canon that Lucas himself intended to derail!?
That whole episode was emotional. Having it be Wrecker, the big lovable teddy bear of the group, that loses it hit hard. Despite being the bruiser, he's just a big ol' bundle of love, and the sheer contrast when the chip took over made it extra uncomfortable, especially when the show regularly shows how close he is with Omega. They're always together, just having fun, and you know it must have just torn his heart out when he couldn't stop himself from trying to hurt her.
Dude, I'd LOVE to see Omega as a live-action character in Mandalorian as a badass bounty hunter. Not sure how old she'd be by then. But, come on, seeing her all grown up and a badass warrior, mentioning how she had the best family she could have asked for who taught her everything she knows would be awesome.
Yeesss that would be cool. She could also appear in Ahsoka's series seeing as Hera (another veteran hero I'll be expecting to be in Ahsoka's series) and her met before and became friends. OOOH the possibilities that could happen!
She'd be about 40 at that point. I think most likely she's appearing, in the first episode of the season of The Book of Boba Fett, AFTER the end of The Bad Batch.
Just finished the Bad Batch and honestly, at first I was skeptical about Omega being in the show. As episodes went by, I actually liked Omega and I think she's an important part of the show. I think the theme of the show is family, and the batch treated Omega like family. In my opinion, without Omega the show would feel a little bland.
She helps to give the Batch a soul, I feel. Her innocence is a bright spot in a group full of jaded ex-soldiers (and Wrecker) that helps remind them of what's worth fighting for.
Something I believe about the Bad Batch deserves more attention is how it presents Omega as capable and helpful to the Batch while simultaneously acknowledging that she is still a kid who still needs help in situations out of her depth. How much it succeeds is up for the individual to decide, but I think it’s impressive to see how much the writers try to avoid having Omega being dead weight that constantly needs rescuing or making the Batch act stupid to make her have a meaningful role in the plot.
I especially liked her in these last few episodes. She was about to follow Chuchi around exactly because she was a cute little girl. The guys would never have able to get into the Senate building.
@@ToasterToastMan Hey man, just to be blunt with you, your comment is painting mine in a very bad picture. There are many Star Wars: The Bad Batch fans who find Omega to be cute and adorable. This is not necessarily creepy or weird despite popular belief. It is just like finding an animal or little baby to be cute and adorable. So please, I ask you nicely and with much respect, to cease with the nonsense and false interpretations, accusations and implications. All this does is wrongly accuse people of blasphemous doings or beliefs when you simply have no proof of this happening or existing. Your accusations of me being a "predatah" among the RU-vid community are strong and have serious and offensive real-life meanings and implications to those who are really truly affected by offenses committed by sick individuals that are referred to as "predators". If you are joking, I completely understand you. I am not angry at you, I just wish to clear some air because it appears you have persuaded some people to think the way you think based on the amount of likes your comment has. Thanks and take care man... ☺ Cheers and peace.
I hope she survives to see adulthood so I can see how much of a bad ass she grows into I’m hoping they don’t kill her in season three or she has a worst fate worse than death
Fans when Omega was introduced: *skepticism* Fans after a few episodes: “If anything happens to her, I will kill everyone in this room and then myself.”
Me at first: “a child-? 🙄‘ Me 2 minutes later: “I love her with every fiber of my being-“ I hate children [which is ironic because I’m legally one] but she is just so adorable and she actually becomes helpful after a little while. At first she was kinda annoying but she really grew on me and I feel like not enough people cut her some slack. She’s literally been stuck on Kamino most of her life and hasn’t learned anything other than being a medical assistant. Also not me being excited because she’s a girl with short hair 🥲 [I know she’s technically not a child but i don’t care so don’t waste your time correcting me]
My fav omega scene will always be her sitting with them at the table~ her little smile was so cute~ but her copying hunter when they were in the cell is a close second
@@LifeGivesYouLemons0 Take over? There’s only one other gay couple in Star Wars, and their relationship is very much ‘the rebellion comes first’. I’m having trouble seeing how Omega being gay means LGBT takes over Star Wars.
One of the best aspects of the show in my opinion is Omega's curiosity and wonder at every new place and thing she discovers. That's why the dirt scene in episode 2 is so innocent and sweet
He has enhanced senses so better smelling, hearing, feeling things, taste and better eye sight although it isnt as good as crosshairs sight, so he is generally good at tracking and noticing things
Agreed with how overprotective he has been with her throughout the first season. Proof of this… when crosshair had his men aim their guns at omega… hunter puts omega behind him, when omega got stuck on the conveyor… hunter comes to save her, during the bane encounter… hunter puts her behind him again. When she was chased by fennec, hunter saves her again. Hunter is legit father figure for her, and I love it, the sweet father-daughter relationship they have.
I was so surprised that she became one of my favorite characters, because I expected another Mary Sue. Yet she appeared to be an actually good character, especially with this clone accent.
I thought exactly the same. What's really weird too is that I expected a lot of her personality traits to appear but I still fell in love with her character.
2:16 You can hear Hunter gasp in pain but does not push her away even though it hurts him. (When he probably would have earlier in season 1) Hunter has become such a father to her.
She's not a combatant and was never going to be trained as one. She's basically Nala Se's assistant, but I would assume that Nala Se either made her or took her under her wing when they found one of the botched clones came out female.
But I think I know why omega is an artificial organic trans prototype she is 25 percent male 75 percent female in the genes of Jango's mother i think she's not blonde but caminoins made a second after bobba modified and tada you got a female clone.
