Golden days of House. One thing I miss from Chicago/Chicagoland is that there is real DJs over there, real turntables, real scratching. I live in Northern California now and there is none of that over here. Just wannabe DJs with a laptop and a music program which is garbage.
Clearly you never hauled crates and crates full of vinyl. I spin Vinyl in my house, but best believe that laptop & external hard drive is coming out with me to do gigs.
ONe o f The BEST BAD BOY MIX with House and Hip House .... I enjoy the scratches also and the Hard Techno sound with all kind of dancers. This give me a reason to talk to younger dancers to make them discover the real leyends and origins in music to dance. Hans-Colombian Piooner in House Music-
I noticed most of the vinyl are white labels I wonder if these were custom-made for the show they seem to have short versions on to mix in and out of songs quickly was before the days of auto mixing and mega sampling capabilities. About the best you can do back then was with the good sampling mixer like the MTX line the MX600 To this day is still one of my favorite mixers
Adam Donmez all those “white label” records are promos. They were not shorter versions. What he was doing was use 2 copies of the same record to shorten the song for the fast mix
mann i still looking for the first track looks like trajic style but i could'n find it .... if someone knows writhe the name of the track please i want to find that vinyl and buy it
