Quick update: the shop called me and said that a tooth broke on a timing component and it jumped time, bent 4 or 6 valves. Since they just rebuilt the engine they’re going to cover it since they can’t explain why it happened.
This is a 2016 2.7 F150 that just had both head gaskets replaced along with all the timing components. The shop clearly didn’t install something right, most likely a broken timing guide. Will find out more tomorrow as the truck is at the shop. Hoping the engine is fine and it just needs new guides.
This happens to our car, but only when the engine is hot. It starts normally after like 30mins to 1 hour of rest. I wonder if it's a Crankshaft Pos Sensor issue.
My mazda sometimes doesn't start usually after I use the ac for a while. I have a camshaft code I have to diagnose. But when I put vehicle in neutral and try to start car it works.
Mine corsa sounds like that but it don’t start unless bump started when the key is turned it sounds like a “drill” like noise and fails to turnover or begin to start any ideas ?
Wow the same exact sound when crank but no star also shows cam shaft sensor took it to a mechanic he tells me it needs an engine ??? Any help should I just replace the cam shaft and crank shsft sensors?
Wdym ur scaring me right now i drive my dads kia 2013 optima and first when we were driving the car started shaking banc and forth little bit u can only notice it in the gas pedal and then later when i press the gas pedal the car doesn't go as fast or at the speed its supposed to be going instead shaks little bit then i had to press the gas oedal all way down even then not much gas is going for the car to go fast and then at some point i stoped at the gym tried to start it it took long but started and when i put the gear to drive or reverse and press the gas pedal it shuts down liek this no check engine light tho
@anumi1 did u figure it out? Im going thru some weird stuff myself sometimes the car wont start off first try i have to try again then the shaking back n forth n lost of power randomly happens here n there...the car is still driving but i need to fix this asap b4 it gets worse
