I think a point about application optimisation should have been included for both devices, Android in general is not as well optimizsed to tablets as IpadOS. Good review otherwise 👍

I would have went with Samsung but I need my design apps to replace my desktop. I have the a7 lite and it’s an amazing little device. I can only imagine how much nicer the quality is on the s9

I owned three iPads before but last year I decided to bought myself a Tab s9 5G and I haven’t looked back since. The other most significant advantage for the 5G version is you can use it as phone so it can make calls and receive/ send SMS compared to iPads which can only be used for internet access. So I can put my phone SIM card in without afraid missing a call.

The Tab S9 wins for me because of flexibility and customization. I find iPads needlessly hindered by iPadOS.

I have a S9 and an iPad pro 11. I use both, each has advantages. Speakers are much better on the S9, but I prefer the aspect ratio of the iPad. I love the kickstand on the S9 cover, but I prefer the trackpad in the magic keyboard. In terms of software there are some better apps and features on Samsung and some better ones on iPad.

For the money I'll be paying, S9 doesn't look premium or solid. features are loaded but I also go for app compatibility ( procreate ) and GPU performance over display.

Huge difference between geekbench score i cant understand both chipset made by tsmc then why so much difference, i bought s9 recently its perfect but cant feel as powerful as ipad, but i prefer freedom of downloading third party apps so i choosed samsung s9 11inch

Is the aspect ratio a bad thing. I held it in person and it felt way too narrow for me. Is this something which has hindered your experience or can one look past it?

ipad might have more apps but depends what you need to do, but both should work good for most things

One mistake open cl and metal scores can not be compared directly so your statement that apples m2 gpu is 4x more poerfuller than the sd 8 gen 2 is false if you want some serious gpu testing use dedicated apps for gpu such as 3dmark wildlife tests

Bro, you can compare both open cl and metal scores and m2 is 4x more powerful than snapdragon 8 gen 2 and it's true that ipados doesn't allow to use the full potential but still we are getting some consule games so it's good

If you fans of IOS go iPad but if u want something that more flexibility and customization for your work like me which is I'm currently computer engineer student and i use iPad before but its gone already(cuz water in it) i usually use it for notes my study lectures and use it for my entertainment and some work about software (3rd screen for my Labtop) i prefer Tab S9+ more than iPad Air 6 cuz sometime i use Tab S9+ for 3rd screen of Coding and i like the big size of screen (sorry for my english)

You have HiPaint (formerly Huion Sketch) which is virtually identical to Procreate, the main difference is that it's free but with ads (non removable)

@@AnNguyen-up3ov I have premium but the regular app still default to 720p even on a 1.5Gbps connection, reset subtitles settings every time you open the app when your system language isn't English, and revanced has Sponsor Block which is even more valuable than Adblock.

⁠⁠⁠@@Randomguy279l most people don’t even use a fraction of M1 performance we do not need M4. Anyways, the iPad Air 6 has M2 not M4. It is also Liquid Retina not OLED. Only the 13 inch iPad pro has Tandem OLED. Please stop trying to compare a top end iPad Pro starting at £1,300 against an S9 Tab which is £800, before Cashback, trade in etc.

Amoled is far superior then ipad display .so you can't have personal preference. Amoled wins there is no preference here

Where? because I don’t see it. I asked because my iPad pro 2017 that I sent in for battery replacement which was replaced with another iPad, which had a white spot on the screen and Apple won’t do anything about it.
