Paul played a samll baseball stadium on his solo tour over the summer of 07... after doing three encores with the band, after the lights came on and some in the audience had started to depart, he came out by himself with an acoustic - and said "we'll just keep this between us", and played the most beautiful rendition of "Seagull" - as good as ever - cheers Paul
Paul sounds better than he did in the 1970's. British guys born in the 1940's sure didn't disappoint us with great music. I love to still hear guys like he and Winwood still rockin'.
Im 45 been listening to Free and Bad Co. since around the time I was able to appreciate the music my cool parents played in their cars and at the house. The 70's had the best music to grow up with and thats just what this music did, It made me love music ( or should I say well written music) and I became a musician on top of it all for the sheer love of bands like this.
O am 52 greetkngs from croatia coast split town mista be vidite s 2000 ars old awrsome city from roman time come and seee all people nice city good music bara nice girlsand people nice bard Do je food vina Welcome everybody kiss šaljite you
"Silver, Blue and Gold" is that rare under-played song that expresses the pain many of us feel inside after our heart has been broken. I thank Paul and Bad Co. for their many great hit songs.
Since the age of 13 i've loved Bad Company.....thats alot of years! Lol incredible band! Paul Rodgers voice is the epitome of rock! As soon as he sings, its like someone has reached inside and grabbed my soul...💞
The music produced by Bad Company was a mainstay in my automobile sound system driving around San Jose, CA during my high school years in the late 70's and continues to by played daily...............Thank you Paul Rodgers and group for providing music that sounds fresh 30+ years after release.
The internet has always been the freedom to choose what you want to see, hear, be exposed to. I know many complain about it, but I have the right to make good or bad choices. You are 100 percent correct.
In the early 80's, I had the extreme pleasure of seeing Paul Rodgers & the original band, along with Rod Stewart & Ten Years After all in the same week & Blessed is the only word for this old rock n' roller to describe these wonderful events I'll never forget, & Bad Co was untouchable with their beautiful songs & stage presence & genuine yo😊
Bad Company is great! Their songs are authentic, straight forward, classic rock, with down to earth meaning. Give me a record with 10 good 3-5 min. songs rather than a record with five 12 min. songs w/ some off the wall message.
Paul Rogers voice is just as good if not better as it was 25 yrs ago.....I am lucky to say that Im going to see him in concert on June 17, 2010 at the Tachi Palace in Lamoore Ca. I saw him 7 yrs ago and it was a concert to remember and cherish for-ever. He is a true rock star.
@Msdistarr I am around 35. I found Bad Company when I was in my early teens and have not stopped listening. Paul's voice has gotten better each time I have seen hiim live. Amazing! He is going to be in Mesa, Az on oct 9, 2011 and I will be there once again to listen to this amazing voice live!
Smoked a butt load of weed to this tune!!! Was an awesome time in my life! Didn't realize how great being a teenager was thinking we all were going to live forever! Rock on Bad Co...
Brings back some great times - hanging in my cousins garage - cranking up the tunes and just enjoing life for waht it is - LIFE - Thanks Paul - you're part of it!!!
Mr Rogers is said to be a broody old rocker, but He may have the finest voice in Rock. Not to mention the fact that if you go through the cataloge of his entire career there are only a hand full of people who come close to the number of hits.
Gotta love it...whether he can sing it as well as he used to or not..."Don't forsake me cause I love you" - "Standing around with my head hangin down, tell me where is she" - every man who's had a broken heart or two can feel this tune! ;) ;(
I've always thought he was right there with Plant and Daltrey...however the band didn't quite meet the success of Led Zep and The Who..let's not take anything away from Paul Rodgers. Many other greats too many to mention.
Paul was Bad Company saw them in ,79 Desolation angel tour . The best drum solo I've even seen a rare drum solo from Simon Kirke . Bad Company was about straight up Rock and Roll nothing fancy just blues influenced rock as for Queen Paul held his own for 3 years they conquered the world . Who else ? Adam Lambert. Joke . Paul and Bad Company should be in the RaRHoF. This year Def Leaperd got in the place is blasphemy trying to kill the rock genre. Itll never die . Young bands coming up not just metal but young bands like the trio of sisters from Monterey called the Warning. Motion Device from Canada. Liliac from Romania. Tchaikovsky had the news 🤘🤘🤘🇨🇱😎🎶🎵🎶
Bad Company is the band of my youth. Many of my "first" happened listening to Bad Co. I went to their concerts in three states and enjoyed them all. Paul Rodgers can sing anything! I wish they would put some new stuff out, their sound cannot be repeated by anyone ever.
God.... I love this song and ALWAYS have! Simple lyrics with so much meaning and passion! "I'm walking around with my head hanging down... tell me where is s(he)". 😢
This is probably my favorite song of all time. When we saw Bad Co. a few years back, at Merriweather Post in Maryland, this is the one song they didn't sing...silly me, I cried. It's the one I wanted to hear most. They brought out the white Grand Piano and I thought "ok, now they'll do it" Nope. Great show just the same.
Jamie Jent, where do you live ? Bad Co "most underrated" ? That can't be. I live in GMT +8 and I have every one of its records from Bad Co to Rough Diamonds and still playing them and enjoying them as much as when I 1st heard them. The voice I would like to have, Paul Rodgers. His voice makes dull music alive..anyway he sings it.
Everytime I hear this the lyrics pierce my heart like an arrow.I love it so much and yet it makes me so sad I cry ♥ The memories are so beautiful ,but the pain of a lost love is almost too much to bare ♥ Thank you for this post,it's nice to see & hear this done live ♥ msstevie ♥
I'm psyched! Just got my Bad Co. Tickets for July 4th 2009 in Atlantic City. Always wanted to see them. Paul Rodgers has one of the best voices in rock history.
Going through a REALLY difficult time right now and this one hits me hard. Lyrics are spot on and with vocal talent of PR I cannot help but to think of my love & cry.
Run With The Pack is one of the best rock songs of all time I just fucking love it and I Love that his voice still kicks maximum ass! Unlike todays singers...
Paul Rodgers and his son Steve Rodgers, Steve Perry, Jimi Jamison (God rest his soul), Joey Tempest, Mitch Malloy and more but those are my personal favorites!!!! 💯💕🥰
@mrtrendkillerfly You don't have to be older to appreciate the decade, the band, the music, the feeling.I'm only 31 & I have seen Bad Co. 5 times already, three times w/ Paul Rogers and twice w/o. The first concert I went to when I was 19, but I owned their music long before that! They are Ledgends, their music lives on forever! And I must say they put on one HELL of a concert! I've also seen Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers multiple times, The Moody Blues, and Fleetwood Mac to name a few...
Both of these songs are absolutely fantastic. They had the right touch as a classic rock and roll band-very sweet, so classic in talent, but not too ridiculously over the top with crazy screaming, solos that are too much, etc. like others. One of my favorite bands of all time. They rock!
