Actually, Faouzia trained herself. Yes! She's self-trained! And from being an alto, she trained herself to be able to reach high notes. Her range is spectacular as well as well as her vibrato of arabian(if I'm remembering it right) which makes her style so bold and unique.

She is so wonderfully individual with her voice. I think that is what I love the most about it. Her style is so unique.

Please do a another analyses to the other stripped version of Bad dreams, (with Faouzia playing the piano and singing) and make a comparaison of the two performances please 😍😍

Even though I commented below the other video, I saw nobody commented it here. She wrote this when she was 14 from what I heard. I love this song. And thank you for all of the technical information. I'm not a singer and I'll never be one, nevertheless it's so interesting to hear! I'll just leave you another recommendation because I don't think a Vocal Coach analysed her. Song Sohee is a Gugak singer, which is traditionally Korean singing. And it sounds veery different. I'd love to her how she does this. It's so unique. The song I'll link you is quite sad (just look at the first comment for the story behind it) and she was 21 there.
