00:00 no wonder he's angry with you pulling a stunt like that, seen this a lot from dash cammers lately, hanging in HGV blind spots, just another dangerous stunt for footage.
0:00 the opening segment, the holier than thou entitled pillock thinks they own the road and that they can barge their way on the carriage way. From the slip road, you can see there is space behind the HGV in front of the car with a caravan. If the Richard Head had slowed their speed a little bit, they could have easily slipped in to the space behind the HGV. Rule 133 If you need to change lane, first use your mirrors and if necessary take a quick sideways glance to make sure you will not force another road user to change course or speed. When it is safe to do so, signal to indicate your intentions to other road users and when clear, move over.
Or you could close the gap for no reason and cause a potential dangerous situation. Its like saying you should go through your green light because you have right of way when you know the oncoming lorry is about to run the red and tbone you. Like common sense exists and drivers need to do better
I was a little on the fence here. But at @3:20 the cammer can speed uphill, yet fail miserably going downhill on a slip road. If he was doing 57mph and not 27mph then the Safeway HGV wouldn't have been a concern as he could have joined and moved to lane two.
@@hodgmandinio1 It has nothing to do with/or is nothing like going through a green light when you have right of way. Going through a green light when you have right of way is not bullying your way through traffic! I drove HGV for many years, and idiots like this cause you to slow down. When carrying a full load it is hard to get your speed back up again even on a small gradient. Not to mention that bullying your way like that can cause collisions. If your slip road is running out, then tough, pick your spot to merge without pissing off other road users. If you have to stop your vehicle bad luck, you should have adjusted your speed and joined appropriately.
@@hodgmandinio1 What a ridiculous comment. Victim blaming again in a world where people no longer know the difference between right and wrong! You give way to people on the main carriageway whatever your 'feelings' are on the matter.
@@hodgmandinio1 This is exactly right. The HGV driver was being a dick. He needs to consider the flow of traffic. It's hard to know exactly what was going on behind, but if there were a load of cars, then the car entering could have caused real issues if it has to slow down to tuck behind the truck as the lane runs out.
@@WiggumPI007 So it is...by the time Manta headlights had turned rectangular it no longer had the chrome on the front. I think what threw me off was the Opel badge, as well as the colour - I associate Chevettes with murky brown!
"Top class lane discipline", which one, the red car, or the cam car when he exited that roundabout.... spend as much time focusing on the road ahead as you do behind you might have picked a lane before exiting.
The first clip of the merging issue is something I have to put up with all the time here in Perth, Western Australia, as they just don't know how to merge and a lot of it is due to drivers from too many countries with different rules and no courtesy. When I was kid growing up in the UK, the Government used to put public information ads on the tv. I always remember the one about merging on to motorways etc. A lot of it is basically common courtesy, if you're already on the motorway and you see traffic on the sliproad, you move to the right lane(s) well in advance and if it's safe to do so of course, to free up the left lane to allow the traffic on to the motorway. The Safeway truck could have done that, as could the car towing the caravan as there was plenty of opportunity to do. If the truck wasn't able to move over, then it's on you the merging driver and in this clip, you should have merged behind the truck and then gone moved into the next lane as the road certainly wasn't that busy. When I come back to the UK I have noticed a significant decline in what used to be basic common courtesy on the roads and a subsequent decline in standards and increased carelessness as we see in the other clips RHDC's videos. Thanks RHDC always good for a laugh and a headshake over my coffee:) Does anyone remember Reginald Molehusband hahaha!
Sent you some clips over last week on WhatsApp , only got one tick on them …have you ever thought about a car sticker “if your this close your now on Robin Hood dash cam “ 😂
I've been through the WhatsApp list and downloaded everything for review. I did get 2 people message me but sent clips that expired after 12 hours - I didn't get to them in time. Was that you? :-P
@3:10. When people (like Lee here) do this I always flash back for them to pull back into lane 1. If they don't (and I am in that mood) I'll catch back up and flash behind them! 😂
The thing is I always wait til I can fully see the car in my rear view mirror and was literally about to indicate in when he did that. He then didn't leave lane 2 at all.
3:36 no they are angry with the person on the other end of the call they think that you’re invisible but you have a Dashcam and got it all on camera I hope he was reported to the police and you forgot that Mr VIP hates having other drivers in front of him
5:13 - to your left is The Olympic a fabulous place for beautiful and tasty takeouts from kebabs to pizzas to fish'n'chips The same owners for 30+ years And no....I'm not a paid employee or get discounts for promoting - although if I did it'd be more a weekly trip rather than a treat myself trip.
