Eye opening video, Spinny & OLA cars quote 20-30% more than what a 2nd hand car deserves. Seller of Old car is benefitted along with these 2nd Hand dealers
It's a simple thing all these used car start ups do. Post inspection of the cars they put this car for online auction with the dealers, the dealer quotes their price and the dealer price is quoted to the original seller of cars and those prices are so low that you will get disappointed with them. If agreed with the price offered they add Mark up and start displaying the cars on their site. Most of their cars are with mechanical defect ,accidental etcs with lots of issues.
Shame on you spinny and Sachin Tendulkar's advertisement for promotion of spinny. Pathaick customer service. They should be penalized for this then only they will get to know the value of hard-earned money of people.
Bro. I I just bought a vehicle at Spinny for 6.20lakhs . After buying we would have driven only 1000kms our of which 650kms was driven by Spinny representative for delivery so totally 300-400 kms only have driven kilometres by us and it's only 17days our vehicle's clutch plate completely worn out. They told me road assistance is free but when I had issue to pickup my vehicle it's not free they charged 1600rs for span of 60kms after the vehicle was handed over to Spinny at their hub they called me and informed that clutch assembly and other major components are worn out and that needs to be changed with my money. Total estimated cost is now 30k rs which I will have to spend. Not only that it's been a week now and still they have not fixed any of the parts and simply procrastinating the work. Am deeply disappointed. I would seek your help to publish my experience in the channel so as to atleast enlighten the others to refrain from buying vehicle at Spinny @SPINNY
Your story is little shocking to hear. Were the 300 to 400 kms drive of yours rough & tough? Even though it is, clutch plate shouldn't have gone. Spinny's top management should look into these matters. Certain hubs are very lethargic towards customers, no proper PDI is done.
Thanks for sharing .I did a test drive of zen estilo today which they claimed only 26000 km driven 10 year old but it drives like a 150000 km driven car.I will never buy from these new gen app based car sellers.
Thank you for your valuable information i am also facing same issue as yours battery issue. I jump start my car and directly move to spinny service centre. They are very helpful and replace with brand new battery free of cost. But concern is correct why spinny is providing same company and old car battery in car.
Forget about Spinny, all the Second Hand Cars are like this, Paat 20 Years I baught 10 Second Hand cars. Out of 10 2 cars was not as expected. It's all Buyer mistake that not checking properly.
Once I booked a rapid on spinny and went to see the car, the engine bed was broken and had all warning lights up, cancelled it immediately. These people are fraud, someone needs to bring this issue to light.
I just went through all the Honda Brio cars listed in Spinny. C pillar of all of them appears almost same, does it mean, all are due to accidents? Actually, I didn't understand where exactly in C pillar it looks like it has been replaced?
Not sure really what the issue is or is it just a blame game to reject buying the car. If it is changed or replaced, then i have been cheated by them for hiding. I will have to check with some other car evaluator on that one.

I saw another video from a Spinny seller, who said almost same- the Spinny guy said that the car was repainted, however the owner clearly said he bought it new and was never painted.. not sure if this a good way to extract money.. I almost got scammed by them, as they tried to sell a meter tampered car ..on pointing out with proof they just denied it...happened in Gurgaon hub...then I did some research and bought a similar car from the direct owner ...save 1 lac.
@@ashishanshuman3074 I took it to authorised service centre. On its last visit 6 months ago the car had already done 58k km as per their record of service centre. But at the time of buying inspection it was showing 50k km. So take it to ASC, pay some inspection fee if required it helps.
It's very similar to my purchase, mine was a 2012 model, i bought in 2022. Yours is a 2014 model, you are to buy in 2024. The age in both cases is 10 years, my odo was also 23000 when I bought. Mine was a 1st owner, V MT. If yours is V MT & first owner, rate should be around 3.60L to 4L as the later models had couple of features added like digital cluster & some more compared to mine.
Let me share my experience , the components of their car became fault only after 3 months of their warranty , AC COOLANT not working after 3 months and exactly after 3 months , power window right stops working .. this is how they sell car and they will say it was working fine . I should have never gone to spinny ever , everything is hunky dory from outside you will get to know 3 months later . How can the above things get dysfunctional after 3 months .. be careful . Real bad experience here in kolkata and the executives trapped us with the trust we had

That's totally illogical. Proves their business mindset. Atleast ask to cover under the 1 year warranty even though it's not included. Better tag the CEO on LinkedIn & expose the hub.
How much time it took to get the RC transferred to your name since I have read at multiple pages that they dont transfer it easily. I am planning to buy. It would be helpful if you will respond
They will apply for RC a day or 2 after the delivery date. RC got delivered in registered post in 40 days. We have to followup with them couple of times.
Only Fools buy from cars 24 , spinny,Mahindra choice..you have got it in much less money from some local reputed car dealer. There is no such thing called honesty,transparency, warranty,buyback guarantee in second hand market😢 . You must have patience and time to get a good deal.
It was a 6 months search.. Lots of patience, timely need and confusions among the unorganised dealers only made the decision to buy a car from these people. Unfortunately these guys made us buyers questionable on the trust.
I bought a Spinny car only 4 months back and now I am facing many issues after their 3 months warranty is over. There is no proper response from their after sales support no. They have authorised workshops in Delhi NCR which are too remote to reach. I have only to contend with local mechanics for remaining 8 months of their warranty service. Don't buy from Spinny.
Bro, I had the same experience with my kwid...the car is 6 months old and I have spent 20k from my end to repair the issues after spinny refused to accept the issues and blamed me for the issues...their technicians are idiots with attitude who will come for namesake checkup and cleverly put the blame on you..I am thinking about selling the car after 6 months since I have invested money and can't sell right away
It happened to me for real. I bought the car from Chennai hub & called for evaluation at Coimbatore hub. Not sure of what's happening with them internally. Only thing to confirm is to call an evaluator from Cars24 or olx auto whether it is for real. I don't have time to do that, but i will do and update.
We can see that people are buying cars from spinny or any such "certified dealers" to enjoy hassle free experience. But this shall not happen at all time. Whatsoever it is a used car and not a new car. So, kindly not to have a thought that spinny will give a vehicle which can come up with no problems at all. That is a too much of trust. At the end, Dealers are Dealers.
It's not the case with everyone. I purchased a Compact SUV from Spinny, within 12 months i faced few issues with the car which was resolved by Spinny under warranty. Car prices are little higher but Spinny delivers as per it's 3 months Comprehensive and 12 months Powertrain warranty.
You are right. Certain hubs are doing good services right from acquiring to selling. Certain hubs are below average & people are affected after having spending hard earned lakhs. No business can run without adjustments.
As you said that was my option, Alto was still 4L for the base model with no features at all. In brio, i atleast got a better engine, airbags, decent infotainment, etc.

they sold me a car with tampered meter and it was much costlier than what it was worth. they show you car in the underground parking yard not in open sunlight the parking lot has LED lights and you can not judge or spot the repaired part. so far I have found Goldie and SSSZi in Karolbagh selling the genuine cars
When someone wants to Sell the car they show “n” number of faults to buy at lesser price. Fortunately I got additional 50k when I exchanged with the same brand.

That's good to hear. Nothing much, just take a Mahindra mechanic with you for evaluating the car. Spending 500 to 1000 for a mechanic shouldn't be a problem for a car of 8.5 lakhs. Mahindra technician knows the car in and out & will help avoid these issues in the future after buying.

That's a good question but they are not readily available. We can only get them through some known sources like friends, families, neighbours, etc. Check in that way if anyone is working in Hyundai service center. Pay them like 200 to 500 RS for a quick inspection. If not take a local mechanic.

Why would I want to return the car as it was in running condition. The purpose of the video is to make buyers aware of things happening so that they take a trained technician along with them to check the car. Not everyone will know everything.
