I bought a Spinny car only 4 months back and now I am facing many issues after their 3 months warranty is over. There is no proper response from their after sales support no. They have authorised workshops in Delhi NCR which are too remote to reach. I have only to contend with local mechanics for remaining 8 months of their warranty service. Don't buy from Spinny.
Hi, if you plan to buy car from spinny by seeing ad of Sachin then you got spinning features, Here is my experience, I bought car from Spinny Whitefield for around 5 lacs And within 2 days car gear and clutch issue occurred and i raised concern immediately after multiple concern raise Spinny took my car for service and i am start asking updates after week no one is giving exact updates by saying will arrange call back but no call back system in spinny if i tried to ask directly to Workshop where my car is took for service Workshop representative says spinny strictly prohibited to share the updates i dono to whom should ask Now i feel that 5lacs are not mine, So if you guy's don't want to feel same then rethink before buying car from Spinny

Of course, yes. Paying him 500 or 1000 shouldn't be a problem for a car worth lakhs. Take a brand expert if you get any or a general car mechanic after you finalize the car you decided to buy.
Once I booked a rapid on spinny and went to see the car, the engine bed was broken and had all warning lights up, cancelled it immediately. These people are fraud, someone needs to bring this issue to light.

As you said that was my option, Alto was still 4L for the base model with no features at all. In brio, i atleast got a better engine, airbags, decent infotainment, etc.

It's very similar to my purchase, mine was a 2012 model, i bought in 2022. Yours is a 2014 model, you are to buy in 2024. The age in both cases is 10 years, my odo was also 23000 when I bought. Mine was a 1st owner, V MT. If yours is V MT & first owner, rate should be around 3.60L to 4L as the later models had couple of features added like digital cluster & some more compared to mine.
whenever you buy car from spinny/cars24, they give you return policy , which is upto 1 week, after getting delivery, take the car to service station, and inspect the car , and get the report of car. which part need to be replaced, accidental history or flooding, check condition of battery, engine, suspension etc. .. after this you can decide whether you want to keep the car or return it., i heard if any repair to be needed , they will pay you cost.
Forget about Spinny, all the Second Hand Cars are like this, Paat 20 Years I baught 10 Second Hand cars. Out of 10 2 cars was not as expected. It's all Buyer mistake that not checking properly.

Why would I want to return the car as it was in running condition. The purpose of the video is to make buyers aware of things happening so that they take a trained technician along with them to check the car. Not everyone will know everything.

Please don't buy cars from spinny. I took kwid for 3.5 lakhs after 3 months of buying ac got issue,Clutch issue no support from spinny. They're really fake and scamsers. The buy guarantee is a scam after 6 months They are ready to buy for 2 lakhs.. If you people are ready to lose your money go for it. It's my suggestion. Buy 2nd hand cars with well known persons only.
I also lost money trusting this brand. Never ever go with spinny. They never check the car conditions properly. Don't go with spinny. I brought kwid for 3lakhs after 5 months ac not working, clutch issue. Mileage issue. Breaks not working properly some time the engine would turn off automatically. Spinny worst service. Never trust don't waste your valuable time and money.
Thank you for your valuable information i am also facing same issue as yours battery issue. I jump start my car and directly move to spinny service centre. They are very helpful and replace with brand new battery free of cost. But concern is correct why spinny is providing same company and old car battery in car.
Hey, I am looking to buy a preowned car, the car usage will be minimal like on weekends. Brio is one of my shortlisted cars. Since I'm new to driving had learnt it couple of months through a driving schoolm should i go with the brio, how is the spare parts availability of the ar along with regular maintainance cost. Any other cars that you would like to suggest example: Ritz (petrol), hyundai i10, beat (petrol), hyundai grand i10m swift 2nd gen (petrol) ? Also what's you though on renault pulse (petrol) or nissan micra (petrol), can this be considered ?
Hi Vaibhav, Thanks for the comment. I can share my experience with Brio, compact & comfortable 3+1 seater car for both city and occasional long drives. Spare parts availablity is decent, even if it is not available at the moment Honda authorised service centers does a good job in procuring from somewhere in India. I had made a maintanence video last year, please check that. This year I got it serviced for 7000 rs. Ritz & i10 are good options any day as it is considered to be one of the best sellers in the second hand market & parts availablity is also decent for them. For now I would suggest you to choose from Ritz, i10, Swift for a hassle free service, parts availablity. Once you become pro in driving, you can go for a new car. Renault, Nissan is better to avoid.

A grand i10 asta optional 2014 petrol (with airbags and ABS) is available under ₹3.20 lakhs Similarly a Brio V MT 2014 is available under ₹3.25 lakhs Hyundai i10 Magna 2013 is available under ₹2 lakhs I tried to check for Ritz through a direct seller but still not able to get it. I want to avoid purchasing it through the dealer as the margins are high and they price a 8 year old Ritz for about ₹3.50 lakhs that too vxi (without ABS)
How much time it took to get the RC transferred to your name since I have read at multiple pages that they dont transfer it easily. I am planning to buy. It would be helpful if you will respond
They will apply for RC a day or 2 after the delivery date. RC got delivered in registered post in 40 days. We have to followup with them couple of times.
Service cost is indeed high, but if money is not a problem will definitely suggest honda authorised service. As they are able to source smallest part and fix small issues which other garages won't fix. The value added services if done at the right intervals and need will help preserve your car better in long run. Don't go by the SA advice blindly for everything, keep a tab on what you have availed when then do it. Of course the service and parts are overpriced, but the companies are charging you as a car owner and not for the actual cost of the part or the fair labor cost. If you are a DIY kind of guy with good knowledge nothing like owning an honda, it requires very little maintenance. Body rust, suspension and the steering are its weak points and need care.
I agree with you. Authorised are always better. That too in my area they are doing a great job. As said, SA tries to push VAS, i opt for wheel balancing only as i does the service once a year. DIY to say honestly, need to experiment by allocating time.
Thanks for sharing .I did a test drive of zen estilo today which they claimed only 26000 km driven 10 year old but it drives like a 150000 km driven car.I will never buy from these new gen app based car sellers.
We can see that people are buying cars from spinny or any such "certified dealers" to enjoy hassle free experience. But this shall not happen at all time. Whatsoever it is a used car and not a new car. So, kindly not to have a thought that spinny will give a vehicle which can come up with no problems at all. That is a too much of trust. At the end, Dealers are Dealers.
Bro, I had the same experience with my kwid...the car is 6 months old and I have spent 20k from my end to repair the issues after spinny refused to accept the issues and blamed me for the issues...their technicians are idiots with attitude who will come for namesake checkup and cleverly put the blame on you..I am thinking about selling the car after 6 months since I have invested money and can't sell right away
