Real interesting looking place and looked very picturesque in the sounding forests and mountains. The waterfall looked amazing, almost like a giant slide. To see that amazing scenery that cable car looked a great call and that suspension bridge was something else, absolutely amazing views! Stunning place to visit, cheers Alan

A fantastic hike to a very beautiful place! A very lovely video showing the scenic wonders ( natural and man-made) of this place in Austria! How can a place called Bad look so good? (haha) It's also very cool how your videos show how difficult the hiking may be in that particular location. I hope you guys are able to put on your hiking shoes again real soon!! thanks for watching and commenting its most appreciated. "Bad" actually means bath as Bad Gastein is a famous spa town with an extensive sauna/swimming place. I didnt go in there of course as I prefer to be outdoors :) The hiking in this area is really awesome with lots of routes, cable cars and buses to make it as easy as possible. I recommend it! We are looking forward to getting out and about soon as im sure guys are as well. Hope you have a splendid week! cheers from barnyz

Danke Barnyz für das schöne Video. ich will am 7.3.22 nach Bad Gastein zum "Haus Hettegger" am Vorderschneeweg 25 für 7 Tage von Deutschland aus, reisen. Ich habe auch Ihr Video vom Patscherkofel Nähe Igls geshen, dort war ich 2018 für 7 Tage. Ich libe Österreich und gŕeis immer alle paar Jahre dort hin. Kenen Sie vieleicht in Bad Gastein das "Haus Hettegger"?

Aber Bad Gastein ist wirklich unglaublich, also bin ich mir sicher, dass Sie eine tolle Zeit haben werden! I used google translate so I hope i didnt misunderstand something... Thanks for watching. I also love austria, so i go there all the time! Sorry I don't know "Haus Hettegger". However Bad Gastein is really amazing so im sure you will have a great time!

Ich war dort 1986 der Ort war noch voll des Lebens die Amerikaner haben dort gerne Urlaub gemacht vor allem im Winter zum Skifahren. Es waren viele Geschäfte im Zentrum und auch die Hotels waren noch belegt

thankyou Joseph. There are a few shots mounted on a tripod but the majority were handheld and then stablised in davinci resolve (if you look closely at alot of the clips you will see some wobble in the corners). Thanks for watching!

hey Chuck, thanks for watching and commenting. I agree the exposures are very bad in many places (along with some dust spots and shakey footage :( ). I recorded the footage a few years ago so if I could go back and do it again I would hope I would do a better job now!

Hi , we are planning to go to Austria in Dec . If we stay in Salzburg , can we do one ay trip to Bad gastein by train? How to go to waterfall? Is it walking distaance? Better taking train or driving ? Thanks a lot

hi. Yes its very doable as a day trip. There is a direct train every 2 hours from Salzburg to Bad Gastien HBF. The journy is short (only 1hr.29mins). You can check the times on the official Austria railway website www.oebb.at/en/ The waterfall is in the center of the town so you cant miss it (and its very loud so you will hear it long before you see it).

thanks for watching. This was filmed in autumn when most of the tourists are gone so it was very quiet. I assume in winter and summer it gets busier. I prefer less people so I chose to go at that time to avoid the crowds.
