A great video Barnyz, especially for someone who hasn't yet had the privilege of visiting. I have been in the Minster, but begrudge having to pay to get in to be honest. Museum wise, we love the Castle Museum, but we've not yet ventured into the Railway Museum. As much as I love York it is easy to spend a fortune and we certainly did on early visits.
Thanks for watching. I agree York is rather pricey and my weekend there was not cheap especially when including a hotel and food. It was worth it though. Hope you are having a great week cheers from barnyz
Wow! Very beautiful and antique! The anyique buildings that bear the traces of time show off their different beauty! Thank you for sharing the top 10 tourist attractions of York with a detailed explanation! Hello! Greetings again from 100tour KOREA! Stay in touch, my dear friend! See you again! Have a wonderful day!
I didn't know York. Thanks for sharing. The cathedral is very beautiful and the path that surrounds the walls must be really pleasant to walk. The guide as usual is very well done. Good evening Barnyz.
Been going to York since I was a kid and we trend to go at least twice a year, every year, as it is only 25 minutes away from us by train. Not been this year due to the train strikes and I remember a time when you could walk around the Minster for free - happy days. Never been in the Ghost shop as the Qs always look ridiculous and I did a York tour video myself last year on 'Haunted York' but to be honest - it bombed! Not been in the Castle Museum or the Yorvik Viking Centre for years and watching this makes me want to go back to them both again and take our grandson, as he would love them, together with a trip to the National Railways Museum, cheers Alan
Thanks for watching Alan. I had visited York many times in the past but had not realised how much stuff there was to see (this video could easily be a top 20 if I had had more time). I don't mind paying to go into great buildings like the minster so long as the money helps preserve it as these are architecturally important buildings. Hope you have great week, cheers from barnyz
Excellent video. The minstrel music fit perfectly. York looks like a town with a fascinating history. I love how the shambles were built so close to each other and such wonderful architecture. This area of England looks very interesting to me. Have a great week my friend. Cheers. 🍻
Thank you. I'm sure you would enjoy york. Not only the city but nearby locations like Fountains Abbey and Castle Howard. Hope you are having a great week, cheers from barnyz
❤❤❤HELP ME, MOTHER OR DAD. I WANT TO FEEL LIKE BEING A RICH PERSON IN JUST 6 YEARS. THE VIDEO IS OVER 50 AND MY RU-vid ACCOUNT HAS BEEN ALMOST 2 YEARS... BUT WHY IS NO ONE WATCHING IT... THANK YOU 🦋🌈🌟🎈
thanks for watching. I hope it brings back some nice memories. Coincidently I filmed this as I was visiting a friend who had come over from Australia who was also visiting Plymouth :)
The Gregorian calendar is a truly impressive thing and while I'm not particularly religious, I do think as it was Pope Gregory XIII who devised it, one should continue to use BC and AD, the new politically correct nomenclature is a denial of the calendar's origin and simply makes no sense. I've heard worse French pronunciation by the way.
thanks for watching and sorry for my French :) I honestly had not given a seconds thought to the origins of the BC/AD calendar definitions. When I was researching the locations I used the same date format as the sources I was looking at (wiki etc)
I am using google translate. I regret I did not visit that location. It was on my list but I ran out of time. One day I will return as I also want to visit the Pont du Gard and yes I hope to visit with better weather one day
Learned to ski there as a young man in the early 70's. I had an older German man teach me after seeing struggling to learn on my own. I never forget the kindness of that gentleman. After living there for almost 5 years, words can not tell you the love I have for Germany and the people. They took this 18 year old kid in and showed me what life was all about. I go back almost every year with my family to see old friends and to travel all around. Germany is truly an amazing country!
Thank you, it sounds wonderful. Im lucky to have travelled there many times and everytime i always imagine how awesome it would be to live there. I love the place!
Thanks for watching and I kind of agree. I'm not a Harry Potter fan... but i know its insanely popular and I want the video to be useful for as many people as possible so i felt I need to mention it
