What's the deal with all that spam bullshit, yesterday I had over 100 explicit sexual content crap, and tha bullshit appears every f -ing day can't get rid of !!!it
This is what happened to my first VCR I bought in 87 and what a stallworth it was I taped a ton of stuff on this Sylvania and still have it for rewinding tapes, but the heads were shot, although it still played tapes in the slow speed, ep not in sp was shot. Great VCR back in the day !!
Something similar happened to an RCA VCR for 1998 that was given to me for free. I went ahead and cleaned the mode switch two years ago just to give it some more life in it. But as soon as I did that, the video head cable started flaking apart and then I got no video but sound. I did get video signal from the tuner and the menu but no dice. I'm not really upset about it because it wasn't even a HiFi unit in the first place, just a plain Jane 2-Head Mono one. Consider me lucky I have some spare VCRs! 😉👌
I am curious Dave, why would you get a community guidelines strike for the title? Perfectly descriptive to me - seen plenty bad heads myself over the years...
I have a trade supplier here in OZ that still sells Grade A video heads VHS (currently 146 different heads in stock) they also still sell most other VCR parts too.
Used VHS machines go for 25.00 here. It was brought in for a 20.00 cleaning. That is all I would have gotten, so even if I could find a drum cheap there is no money in it.
@@catsbyondrepair also same here I could never get the top of the motor to be even with the rest to then screw the top two screws in. I gave up on that CRT combo unit and gotted it and sold it as a general tv lol
