Ik look I understand it can be off putting when a group doesn’t have good vocals but the unnecessary mean comments ruined it, comparing main vocalists to members who specialise in rap or dance just doesn’t make sense, the clear bias was PAINFUL to watch, she really had it out for the 4th gen groups she’d criticise the bad stuff and cut out/ignore the good stuff. They are overall a toxic content creator and it doesn’t take you long to figure that out just look at their videos, I don’t understand why kpop “fans” can’t just be a little more positive, outright bullying underpaid overworked idols isn’t going to get you friends.

Exactly "point out bad encore stages" not hate on them... I was expecting criticism not a random person putting unnecessary commentary on encore stages. They didn't even say anything valuable they just insulted the group. Sure, these aren't good, nobody's saying that they're good. But saying things like "Yujin fasted" or "I hate you 4th gen" is so unnecessary. And if y'all think this is funny, it really is not. Also, there's other groups like NewJeans and Enhypen that also have really bad encore stages, and those weren't included. So this person doesn't seem to care about vocals when it comes to their faves, they only care when it's groups they hate

Again, they didn’t say they hated specific idols, they said they hate 4th gen as a whole, which is a perfectly valid feeling. I’ve seen plenty of needless hate in my time as a kpop fan and this is not it. This is legitimate criticism conveyed in a comedic way.

@@itsrainingcaratzens the fact you think this is hate tells me all I need to know about you ie. oversensitive, can’t take criticism of your favs. IVE is one of my favourite groups (like top 5 favs) and they’re the first group singled out in the video. Justifiably, cause that example is awful. I see some people complaining that they didn’t use more recent clips of any of these idols improvements, but the fact that they were ever at this level is a problem for the industry. I know IVE has improved since this example, but it took them over 2 years from debut, and that Yujin and Wonyoung were already working as idols prior to that should be unacceptable. Not on them, but on the industry. They became idol TRAINEES with the expectation that they would be trained, and their company sends them out to perform like that? It’s laughable, it deserves to be clowned on. And sure, every singer has bad days, but none of the idols showcased in this video were having a one off bad day, and there’s plenty more examples of them out there to show that. I’ve seen plenty of actual hate amongst kpop fans, plenty of fan wars, hell I’ve been called ableist for not stanning ateez. This isn’t hate. I’d say it’s certainly on the line. But the overall tone of this video is not hateful, it’s critical. Hate is when people were picking on Lia and saying she wasn’t good enough to be ITZY’s main vocal, that she shouldn’t be in the group, even body shaming her and calling her names because of her singing. That was all directed at Lia when it’s not her fault JYP never gives Itzy songs or her parts that suit her voice. She sang a jazz song on a variety show and she was incredible! She’s a really good singer when she’s singing in the right range. But she was the one that was the focus of the negativity, not the company. While this video is clearly targeting the industry as a whole, not specific idols or groups, just using them as examples of the problem in the industry as a whole.

The title says that the video is about bad encores, not necessarily has to be new. Since we all know those are just old viral videos that had been going around for some quiet time, we can assume that they should have made some improvement of their vocal considering many people had criticized them.

While I do understand what you’re trying to say, and I do definitely think this person was overly critical for no reasons, they don’t necessarily have to be a singer to hear if someone sang good or not.

We have ears and know when someone sings bad. Also these idols are paid to sing. They can’t even do their job right.

Singing while standing still is not an impossible standard. I like one of the groups that was shown to have a bad encore, but I can acknowledge that they’re weak singers. Whether you think being a good vocalist is necessary for idols is your opinion, but wanting idols to sing their own songs well is not asking them to be perfect.

It’s basically a trend now that when idols sing bad in encore stages they fuck with their earpiece to look like they’re having a problem and that’s why they sound bad. If the earpiece was really the problem they could just pull it out and they’d be able to hear themselves and the music and no longer have a problem. But they don’t, they just touch it and shuffle it around in their ear.

​@@LaurenPebblebruh, go watch the video again. You have no idea just how loud the crowd was during Jimin's encore, no wonder he was not able to hear anything at all with all the commotion. He did pretty well the very next day on another encore. This man has been singing for over 10 years, has done all sorts of performances, acoustic, Acapella, he's the one who's always given the hardest notes as well the most intricate choreographies in BTS's songs but people will take 1-2 times he's messed up due to actual technical issues and will just jump on the hate bandwagon, oh and you can go and check out his recent performances of Who.
