@@andytoskovic don't let him fool you, Andy. You're exactly what's being talked about in the song. So, thanks for you using the internet as a tool to display your ignorance :D
Royce's the only artist in my opinion who can feature alongside Em and it won't look like that Em is a show stealer. This song is so underrated but is so powerful. It's been a decade listening to Em and I don't think any artist would ever come close to what he does. The best! 🐐❤️
Growing up is realising that Royce damn near tilts the scale in his direction when he’s spitting alongside Em, brings something different outta him it’s crazy
David White I bought every song from MMLP, TES, Encore, Relapse, Recovery, MMLP2, Most songs from Shady XV. Eminem is the only artist where I buy his music and I feel it was a great purchase. Eminem is pretty much all I listen to xD
+Kits XII Agreed, I also think he's pretty much the only artist left where I feel it worthwhile to actually shell out money for his material. This song helped me to see how damaging it is to an artist to pirate music. As Em said, music is all he has and it would be quite selfish of me to continue stealing it.
+fhffg ghgh It doesn't matter if he's fine money wise. He still worked and put effort into the music and it shouldn't be stolen. What kind of mentality is that? So because someone has money, they deserve to be robbed? That's not fair to the work and dedication they put in.
+JO bEE So? When you risked your entire life for something you worked so hard for, the least your fans can do is buy their music. It's not even expensive, how cheap can you get? Lmao
nah man, i have to admit that the first time i heard this song i was like "omg this guy is actually going to kill em on this song??" but then em part started and i feelt so much emotion, fast parts, strong voice parts, amazing verse overall. royce verse was amazing, but i felt like marshalls was even better.
Alex Valverde Servat Em started with more energy but Nickel had a much better climax, in my opinion. On this track I'd say it was pretty close, but if there's a track on this album that Royce takes, it's "Above the Law." Amazing verse with tons of energy. Don't forget you're most likely a bit biased, as you're obviously a big Em fan.
Seth Stark idk Royce has a verse about friends asking for money now if you look at the meaning Eminem’s is better beachside he talks about people stealing music
@@TLOExodia yeh I ain't into the arguing over the Internet malarkey but you're wrong ! Eminem actually wrote that verse and I've seen an interview from 5"9 confirming em wrote the whole song 🎵 so yeah.
I like that, but "if I gotta lend you money every time I see you just to be your friend then bitch I really don't need your friendship" means more to me. I got friends ALWAYS asking for money..
all good lines... Bad Meets Evil is so underrated. But the more I think about underrated artists, the more I prefer it that way. Eminem's legacy is well noted and well deserved, but Royce never slouches. Glad those 2 squashed their drama.
Please look at these expenses. These niggas expensive. If I gotta lend you money every time I see you just to be your friend, bitch, I don’t really need your friendship.
"'cause I break my back to give you my art You steal my thoughts, it's like drivin' a spike through my heart You might not think it's that big of a deal To steal from me, but music's all I got" damn
“I don’t pay no attention to birds I use my scope and I tend to the vultures” - Royce is so damn good. Eminem is amazing as always but honestly Royce is right there lyrically. If he ain’t tied with em he’s damn close.
Royce is better in general listen to anything royce and eminem have done eminem gets outshined everytime even the Tim Westwood freestyle royce outshined eminem
Royce doesn't flow like water , water flows like him .Damn! His Flow is on a whole new level ,it's high time he gets some Respect and recognition , he deserves it..!!
"if i gotta lend you money every time i see you just to be your friend bitch i don't really need your friendship". Bro i got rid of so many people in my life because of that one line , niggas be using you just for your paper. I'm free now. Royce is that nigga straight up.
gucci mane That may be the best line on the album real shit. Royce's verse changed my outlook on life. I'll still always be there for em but sometimes enough is enough
+Carson Reidy They need to just release something with this song, Michael holding Franklin and saying "You're gonna be okay kid, you're gonna be okay." after like Frank got shot or something, then Trevor just goes after who shot Frank and this song starts playing. I THOUGHT ABOUT THIS TOO MUCH AHH.
I actually bought this album and always listened to it with my Dad in the car whenever we had the chance and its a memory I hold dearly for some reason. It got us closer
Within the first four lines of the rap he says I don't spit raps this ill for you to just hack and steal. How many times do you have to listen to a song before you hear the clearly spoken words? I'll just write you off as a mouth breather.
Eminems verse can be related to any industry, to those who put their everything in what they do and they themselves know how much they've perfected their art and are still belittled by those around them.... real lyrics and at the same time he states keep doing you as long as you know youve "perfected your art"... real lyrics... to all those people in the world who can relate... keep your head up because you're real 🤲💪
Eminem you are a beast. You are one of the Greatest rappers of all time, and simply the Bestt rapper of the this decade. I Give my props to you Em. You are the only Artist I can listen to every day all day long. You dont rap for money you rap for your fans; for which that means ur songs are written just for people like me; and that, I thank you. No song goes unnoticed. No Flow or Lyric goes unheard
I appreciate both eminems and royces verses and what they're trying to say, but being real royce took this one. Not that it's a competition, but I think royce did better.
+Sundin456 It's a matter of opinion, but Royce touched on a family matter, one of the most personal things to rap about. Eminem rapped about people stealing music, which I understand happens alot, but isn't quite on the subject matter royce touched in this song.
+Sundin456 The sad thing is you guys think they are competing on the Bad Meets Evil album, they just know they are both incredibly talented, well respected music artists who know that when they come together, its phenomenal.
Em and royce's verses like a real ones with no words, times goes fast but im just 14 and ik im young but i grew up just listening to raps like this 🔥 but new rappers now are not good but also not in level like eminem, royce, lil wayne, drake, dr dre, 50 cent, tupac One of the realist song on the album💯
i think that they both kill it on this track, royce did a great job, good delivery but maaan the way Eminem gets on the track is simply amazing, he's always able to wreck the beat and to take complete control of it it's awesome!!! his agressivity is unreal, like if everything he's saying on this track is really driving him nuts
Claret Jai has a beautiful voice bro like girl can hit and has a unique sound that I love and insane pipes with killer beautiful range and can hold a note for as long as she want. Amazing talented voice.
"guess that's the difference from friends and associates, i dun been broke i dun been through the motions, i don't pay no attention to birds i use my scope and i tend to the vultures" One of the most beautiful lines i've ever heard
I'm sitting here listening to this & all I can think of is my cousin Aimee Jo. She was dear to my heart & was shot down & killed 2014. But if she was still alive this is a song she would love! I could already see it in my mind. her dancing to the hook/chorus even if it's sad. Uh god.. it's 2017 & her death still fucks me up even just thinking about how she would be on the same level listening to a song as I would be fucks with me. I'll stop talking.
"Please tell me why on this Earth, Lord, does this keep happenin' I keep rappin, but I wonder sometimes is it worth all the bullshit cus it feels like it's gotten me down and there aint no gettin back up from it." I think....
I heard veryyyyyy few songs when the other artist give you some kinda chills on the same track when there's eminem on the other side.... Royce is a gem man....
why is everyone saying royce's part was better? this is actually one of my favorite eminem verses at the moment, just because of how he pours his heart out more than most songs.
How did I JUST find this masterpiece? This was amazing. It was beautiful. Both verses. But Eminem's was beyond masterful. I mean both were both...god.....I'm lost for words. Seriously? Doesn't anyone feel like - WTF WAS THIS?! THIS WAS
Well what Eminem's trying to say is that he put his life into music he can't ever go to Walmart or target or restaurants he can never leave his house because the paparazzi and I mean it would be nice to get money out of it
Who here went 🤯🤯🤯 when Royce showed up like a Harlem Globe Trotter 🤾🏾♂️ to dunk on Eminem. Lately I've been finding true Royce verses that are talking about some real shit and what he does is amazing like the way he announciates, go back to fast lane, I think the first verse towards the end it's a short millisecond he through and "I" syllable sound before the word ain't and I was like whoah it wasnt no i sound it was a hard I said completely seperated from the syllable from ain't and he maid it stick out by elevating his voice in the middle of his flow showing you he kept his original rhyme scheme, it flew over my head at first, but this guy is starting to seem absolutely a monster and I love that Eminem finally said it!!!!!!! Eminem is about rhyming and Flowing though he can bar you people act like they don't like his songs but if you listen to flow he is amazing to like insane level if you don't understand listen to not a like just his verse not the corny hooks his verse do it 5 times and respect each flow switch and the difference and how long he caries a flow. A lot of people don't respect flow on a beat if you rap yourself then you should listen to what part of the instrumental he is rapping too each flow then tell me your amazed cause I don't know anyone who freestyles or raps to all the different Melody's and sounds he found one for every sub melody on the track, most people use only the drums he used everything. That is what he just said no one respects my flow. They are insane next time I listen truely listen.
the lyrics your missing are "Well then please tell me why on this Earth Lord does it keep happening, I keep rapping But I wonder sometimes is it worth all the bullshit Cause it feels like a down, there ain't no gettin up from But I won't let it get me down" please edit the video there's no point in have a music video if your missing a big part of the lyrics but good work tha k's for the lyrics
Your channel name is the album name, the video is tagged lyrics, your avatar says the album name, but... you still get the lyrics wrong and don't even try on some of them? Irony at it's finest.
"So I'mma look down on you? Just be proud of me, you already got my respect" I love this line so much, cause imagine that Royce is just an big face in music industry and he has these friends, around him. I can see this, like, if Royce is still looking down on them - like he can notice, that his friends are in some kind of shit-hole, he is still there for them. They have his respect, cause he is still taking care of them.
In an interview, Eminem said that he wrote almost all of Royce's stuff. Eminem probably took Royce's ideas and put them in rhyme format. I think Royce is really good when it comes to delivering the lyrics. His voice is great.
Shut your lying ass up! I can't believe you posted this bullshit 8 years ago. This is for any new viewers on this video, Royce writes all his own raps so don't believe this damn clown!
The crazy shit about this song is that I listened to it constantly during a field trip during my senior year of high school, after that every time I hear it it plays a music video of myself during that field trip high as fuck very dramatized to what actually happened. It's exactly the same every time...
Look Em, you're my favourite artist ever, but you are stacking over 100 million dollars. I am broke. If I ain't got the time or money to get an album I am going to listen to your music free online. If you were poor I would help you out but nah you're way too rich now, have to disagree with you on this one 😂
I get what your saying, n im broke too, but from his view he does thos to make money, and lots of artists dont have as much as prople think, but the message is saying that he tries his hardest for his fans, and they just take his cash without second guessing, and hes running out of rhymes, and music keeps taking from him, its hard to explain but i understand his view
It doesn't matter that you listen to Em's music for free, he said it himself in a interview when promoting Yelawolf (he said : Donwload it or fucking steal it.) The thing Royce talks about is hacking the computers in the studio way before the album is done...The frustrating part is that people will steal your lines or fuck up the promotion campaing for a album
To add to the previous reply, eminem is definitely not finished yet. He is in the process of recording a new solo album right now which will be released some time next year (2013). He announced it a few months ago on a Californian radio station and you can check eminem's discography wikipedia page - it's legit.
"Farewell i bid you but before i go Ladies and Gentlemen Slaughterhouse i give you!" Best Bar ive heard in a very long time, and its not to promote himself, its to promote others! Respect Eminem#
