I have a question 🙋🏻♀️ If zinc oxide degrades chemical filters does that mean that if you put foundation or other makeup on the does not have spf in them, but has zinc oxide as part of the ingredients, will it make my sunscreen less effective? And does this apply to only avobenzone, or can it degrade European filters as well?
@@DJ-bw5kwthere are brands that do use uncoated particles, even Ultraviolette uses unencapsupated Titanium Dioxide and Zinc Oxide, according their customer service. Especially in the "clean beauty" space quite some brands use uncoated zinc oxide.
I did that with the BoJ stick sunscreen and got the worst burn on my face anyway (I also very generously applied the stick multiple times). Stick sunscreens are a no for me.
