Valve Has Removed Mac Support from many of their titles according to SteamDB.
This includes several Valve titles such as Counterstrike Source, Half Life 2, Portal 1 & 2, and Left for Dead 2.
This is really sad news as these are classic games that I feel every PC player should play at least once and now an entire operating system can no longer play them.

I own a Mac and although I would like them to support Mac gaming. Only recently has Apple even started caring about Mac gaming. Also only 1.47% of users according to steam hardware stats play on MacOS.

its because paying the license and then porting all the code into what is the nightmare abomination XCode is too demanding to get the game to like 0.4% of their playerbase

Well then maybe apple should stop charging companies money while also having those companies essentially re-code the game to run on their systems in the first place. That's like telling someone they have to pay for the privilege of working for them AND needing it done in a different way than they already have been doing

Only like 1% of players were on mac and they have to pay a fee every month to have mac support.

Knowing Apple, they probably kept asking to have access to all of steams user data...Either that or this is a move from microsoft who is still trying to buy valve.
