Bad News! They will start to install innerdoors on the "freight" elevator tomorrow. :( 

In Sweden is a law with innerdoor too, it´s why they install innerdoors right now.. :)

It is bound to happen, all elevators here in the US have inner doors due to building laws. Gated elevators were the closest thing we had to the european style "open elevator" and they were illegal for quite sometime now, and no new building has been allowed to have them :(

inner doors make this elevator less interesting. they need to keep the fixtures though. what is going where you put your hand? elevator motor runs well. it runs smoothly. what is that grinding?

Atleast they could install transparent glass inner doors.
