Me too :) I found madchild last july and then a month later Tom. I never expected these 2 together or even considerd they exist in the same universe. I found tom and then randomly he just helps one of my favorite rappers back in his feet.

I would say "Mama" represents unconditional love. Someone who loves you regardless of how you present yourself and always hoping the best for you. Contrast that to fake ass friends who will use you and only be around you IF you maintain your image or other perks. I'm in my 40's now, and I wished I spent more time getting to know my mom more before she passed than some superficial assholes I thought were important.

I have listened to this song a min of 3 times a day for months and I never even thought of how actually intricate this song is. I related to the feelings of living with depression and masking it with all this stuff every day. Self medicating and portraying a perfect persona. But damn this is so much a commentary piece! I love this! Thabk you for this perspective I have such a new respect for Tom, Man Child and Novas story

I lost my precious mother in November 2022! She was 72 years old. She loved this song for whatever reason she loved the beat of it and she asked me to play it numerous times and she danced to it. It was beautiful. She rolled off the bed at 72 years old, and had a heart attack, I mean I was on her as soon as she hit the ground I was calling 911 but I was already giving her CPR! It literally took the Centre, Alabama idiotic medics 25 minutes to get to my house and when they got there, I was so fucking exhausted I couldn’t even breathe,. If it takes 1000 years im going to get those bastards! If not I will die trying!

Madchild and Tom's friendship came out of a disk. Madchild made commits on Toms earlier videos?? Can't recall which. Tom replied and in conversation realize they had alot in comon in Sober life. Got together within 1st month did two videos. Madchild epic beat master. Who walked away from family and friends in the Crew he Began years Ago. Leaving them Angry here Stopped the Party. They still preform and are still Wild party moving from County fairgrounds nation wide. Tom Nova n Madchild triple threat. 💖💖

Great reaction! Not many reactors have done the Batman video, but it is one of my favorites from that time in his career. You got it right about the "write movies or do a short movie to music with different video drops"! Could you imagine what would be in store for us? As for Bad News - you are 100% on point with that too, but just adding to the brilliance, not only did he do it with the message itself, but also showed how easy it is for him to make a hit with that same type of mainstream vibe, but one that still has a deeper meaning & people of all ages & walks of life can rock to! #HANGOVERGANG4LIFE

The pairing of Tom and Nova is amazing. Both creative genius, and they really seem to play off each other well to create awesome videos / music. Trying to live up to an image is so stupid. I spent years gang banging, dealing drugs, and ended up getting my car shot up. Realized wtf am I doing? I just want to be a nerdy white dude and actually enjoy things. It's okay to have fun and enjoy life. being "hard" is stupid. So glad I got to become my real self as an adult, and I hope more people do sooner than it took me.

Love how after novas verse "i been rollin with some bad dudes" Tom and nova pointed to madchild Madchild been through some shit up here in my city of VANCITY (vancouver) He was affiliated with the hells angels, banned from the USA, had gangsquad all over him.
