I had an ORIF for open book fracture due to fall from a roof in 2004. It has been a life changing event.

10 hr Operation i had after having my pelvis shattered under a HGV ( fully loaded ) every wheel on the left side of the wagon rode over me and iam walking ( thanks to the shift work of both surgeons ) ...what puzzles me is why did they leave one of the ischium tushy unconnected ?
