Namibia has refused to extend the visa granted to Ugandan monarch King Mutebi II of the Buganda Kingdom. The Ugandan king has been in Namibia for medical treatment since April. But Namibia says it cannot allow the Ugandan monarch to extend his stay. This came weeks after protests by Ugandan activists at Namibian diplomatic missions. Namibia says its officials were harassed over the king's stay. But why were Ugandan activists protesting? They feared their king was kidnapped. Did Namibia kidnap the Ugandan king? The Ugandan President says the activists have embarrassed the country with such claims. Watch this video for details.

Please the news reporter, you got to know a bit more about it! The king was taken to Germany as elaborated by some officials and abruptly he was lost. After people tracing the king and nowhere to be seen they searched for him and no one was ready to tell his whereabouts The king is not for some people, he is for Ugandans so we are supposed to know about him. The private doctor, from Germany transported him to Namibia but if you check the medical status of Uganda and Namibia, Uganda is performing far better than Namibia! What is the genuine reason for him to be hidden without even the notice to the King's officials. Make research, don't just report without filtration

@@justinojara9169 Know the difference between "Uganda's King" and "King of Uganda". This news lady said he is Uganda's King, which is a term that refers to any Kings from any Kingdoms in Uganda. There is no King of Uganda because Uganda is not a Kingdom but a Republic. However, Buganda region is a historical Kingdom (with a central parliament, county & sub county headquarters, clan chiefs & clan lands). You should know this by now.

The guy went for treatment at a psychotherapy center and instead they said he was kidnapped. I am happy Namibia 🇳🇦 canceled the extension. Dictator Museveni is sleeping with the King's wife. He kidnapped the King at Entebbe airport on his way back from Germany,flew him to Namibia where's he's being detained and tortured for over two months now. Museveni also froze the King's bank accounts. So sad😢

I don’t think Baganda have anything against Namibia. (PS : Namibia has every right to act according to its own laws and regulations - maybe if this had been arranged effectively, certain exemptions would have been sought in advance ) The ones protesting want to know more about his health and whereabouts. I am not sure if this was necessary but given his longstanding illness and the resulting concerns among his subjects about his state of health , it is understandable. Communication about his travel and treatment could have been done better . That said , the Kabaka like any other individual has a right to privacy and especially for personal health-related matters . Baganda and Ugandans in general need to appreciate this and be patient . He has recently informed y’all that he is getting better and will return soon and I personally believe this .
