When you see them do that swirly guitar part on Generator in person, and the sound guy gets it right, and you are just the right level of intoxicated and zooming from adrenaline, it’s pretty amazing...
yes..i think it s strange when 50 year old punks are dressed like 20 year old punks (NOFX , german Band : Wizo...) i think they do it for commercial reasons. BR are punks in there mind and heart , so it s not necessary to look like "punks" for them.
Dear child! Punk is freedom! Anarchy! Fighting the system! Punk is in his heart and mind, not his clothes. If you think punk should look like your commercial stereotype, then you have no idea what punk is and you create the system yourself! Ⓐ + ☮ = ☺
Haha in that case anything can be punk, from a revisionist's pov. I look at the stage and the arkwardly fenced 'pit'.. really, where are those kids supposed to rage? I would've walked away and started to wash down my frustration in a waterfall of 7 Euro beer.

Funny you mention that; at least a few kids out of every "clique" back in high school I knew of enjoyed at least one Bad Religion song; some as many as 10. Whether they were the popular girls listening to Taylor Swift, or the jocks cranking Hinder or the hip/hop heads with Kayne West in their earbuds; it didn't matter, they *all* liked Bad Religion; I'm sure you're right!
@@MichaelD8393 Funny i am 18 now and i never found someone in my age that liked BR. its more likely the opposite, where people are telling me, that BR is bad... Bad Religion is Littleraly the singe Band, where every Song is good. Not every song is a 10, but at least a 7.

Punk rock as we know today has transformed and evolved so many times since I started following, way back in my teenage years at start of the nineties(1990's). Someone said to me "punk rock! The bad religion lads co-wrote the book!" And the rest is history...... All of them massively influential in all parts of the punk scene today and i hope they will be for many years to come🙏♥️♥️♥️♥️Luv Ya Lads🙏
You can really see Jamie transform and feel more and more comfortable behind the kit as the years go on with BR. He developed a style of his own ( just like Brooks did) and he is doing an amazing job holding his own in such an iconic punk band. Jamie, you are a beast!
Great show!! Bad Religion is always a huge pleasure to watch playing live. They are old, modern, nostalgic, fast, slow, deep and shallow in one single show. The new drummer is now looking getting very well along with the band and playing very well all songs in his own style. Brooks will aleays be missed, but he is doing a very good job now!! And Greg is singing better than never!! Like a fine scotch, he's getting better and better while years pass!! Thanks guys for keep on playing great punk rock music for us!!
The single best thing california has ever produced ! Living in Long Beach CA and getting my first bad religion cassette tape in 1993 recipe for hate. My life has never been the same since!..
Insert cliche old man joke.... Bad religion are a classic band and their lyrics are so intelligent and even academic yet poetic. I am a long time fan and think they are in a class of their own. Even when I don’t newer stuff as much as older I always love this band and what they stand for; science, skepticism, critical thinking, and philosophy. Musically, graffiti is a great singer and always sounds great live, you can’t say that about many punk bands. I won’t name them ha. But I just listened to this entire concert in my car and it’s very good quality. Sure, some of the backing vocals aren’t what they are on the album but I’m guessing that graffiti probably does a lot of of his own harmonies and such in the studio. And what about Brian Baker. His lead guitar playing is very good, way better than most punk players. His lead licks are very classic rockish (jimmy Paige, eve slash). Cool band, great show.
Bobby was the best drummer in BR.While he was in the band the best records was made! (My favourites:Generator,Recipe for hate) Greetings to Pete "flinstone",sorry:Finestone!! Love you!!
@@RYx222 if you really think that then either you haven't heard all of BRs stuff, or you simply dont like punk and prefer pop punk. You are comparing apples to oranges dude. I remember the 90s when green day could be considered punk though, and they do have like 4 or 5 good songs
Greg has an amazing (!!!) voice! I can't say I've ever heard a singer pull off the tones this accurately singing live before! And he's in his 50's! Wow. What an unique singer.
"kills it... with a single pedal of course" ...Duh, it's BR. Should we be expecting 250 bpm double bass? Even though a couple former drummers might have had a double bass pedal, no drummer has truly ever utilized double bass in BR''s set- so not sure what sense it makes to note this guy is playing single bass patterns. Of course he is. The only people who seem to respect single bass and disrespect double bass are drummers who want to be able to play double bass and can't. Fact. You know what's *really* awesome? Drummers who play in a band like BR and play single bass because that's what the songs call for, but are *capable* of kick ass double bass. Anyone who meets *that* description wouldn't rag on double bass ability. PS- Bad Religion is one of the easiest drum jobs a drummer could ever get in terms of playing the material. There are a million guys and girls who could have taken that seat that would sound just like this guy. This ain't exactly Animals as Leaders or Rush or Tool or something. It's a D beat, lol.
Punk Rock Legend ! Long Live Dad Religion 😂😈😈😈 ! I listening this band since 1998... amazing ! Listen to the sound... perfect... And I want to conquer the world !
Bad religion is the greatest American rock band of all time, no one can compare to their message , no one can compare to their energy, they are not a fad that passed with the early 80’s American punk rock wave they have remained pure , real, honest and true. No one and I mean no one can compare to the song writing, the catchy riffs and the fact that they have songs that only mean more as time go on. God bless you bad religion
Where are songs "American jesus", "Infected", "Wrong way kids" or "We're Only Gonna Die" ?!?!?! These songs or at least few of them deserve to be there......
